Let me start by stating, I hate ordering shoes and not being able to try them on before purchasing. Then a pandemic hit and that preference went out the window. I took a chance and ordered these boots in a desperate hope that they would work. I went up a half size to allow for thick socks and they are perfect! These are beautiful boots, but I found the wide calf to be extremely wide. My calves are typically about 15 inches around after a long day on my feet - and these boots were just swimming on me....to the point where they look a bit sloppy. I would've preferred a more polished look. Read more

These boots are nice but there are TOOBig at the leg and they don’t have a standard fit. Unfortunately my window to returned closed since I was traveling for bussines so I am stock with them. Do not recommend unless you need and XL fit on your calf/calves. Read more

I originally bought these boots because the boots I loved from Payless, DexFlex wide calf, cannot be found anywhere. My calves measure about 16 inches around. These boots are snug. I was disappointed to get them and have this happen. They are extremely comfortable, but having them barely contain skinny jeans and socks is sad. They are also very harsh on your ankles. They need weeks of breaking in. Walking down stairs they pinch. They are a decent alternative to my favorite boots, but I would not buy them again. Read more

First things first: size up! I followed this recommendation from other reviews, and I definitely needed to. I normally wear a size 7 wide, and the 8 fits nicely. I haven't worn them out yet, but trying them out around the house they are very comfortable. My last boots are too thin in the calf for me now, and I needed something wider. These fit nicely and have a little elastic hidden under the triangle on the inside of the calf for extra wiggle room. Read more
