I was looking for suitable socks that would make wearing my platform Doc Martins comfortable to wear , I needed a thick sock meant to prevent the heel of the boot from rubbing my skin off & to help fill up the boot inside cause they’re just a bit loose . I’m so pleased with these socks , they’re thick, soft & comfortable . They’re comfortably snug without feeling like having a tourniquet doing its best to impede normal blood circulation - These are made with good design & material & actually fit adult sized feet , unlike so many socks out there . Whatever the “ green” fiber is in the heel of these socks delivers the promise of comfort . No bunching up or dragging down as I walk either . As a plus size female, these are my favorite socks to wear when not wearing dress shoes. I sit a lot for work and when doing online studies. My ankles tend to swell as a result. These are great for cold weather or if you need a soft yet thick sock. They are very warm and cozy indoors or with a cold weather shoe/boot. I chose a size 4-10, as I wear a women's 8 in shoes -- these were quite large/long, and I find they slide down often. They breathe fairly well and I find them comfortable enough, but wouldn't buy another pair. Read more
