In Good Company—October 6, 2024
I have used these for quite some time now and I like them. My only issue is that they don’t stay on easily. But with that said, I contacted the company, and they help me fix the issue, and resolve the problem. They really do help whiten teeth, and do not cause sensitivity. You have to be disciplined with using these as it is not going to make your teeth, glowing white overnight. So when I use them, I tried to, do it one day on one day off, until I attain the shade of white I’m going after. They have a nice minty taste, but nothing too potent. You will notice a little gummy film on your teeth after you takeoff the strips, but that easily comes off with mouthwash. I think the price point is OK for what you get. Read more

I have 0 sensitivity issues. Easy to use. Box comes with instructions. Honestly, I may be a little bias, but I’d say these are among the best on the market. Safe ingredients, affordable, and they work. I have been using these for 2 weeks. I immediately began using the strips the day I got my braces off. I wear them for a hour every evening 6 days out the week. Supplemental items I use with these strips include remineralization gel and Opalescence 35 % gel. I use the gel maybe 2-3 times a week. I put it on top of the gel on these strips. I use remineralization gel in my retainer at night. I also use sensodyne toothpaste. Pro tip* Cut the strips in 1/2 horizontally. ;) Happy whitening! I've used these two days now and like it. Previous strips have left my teeth feeling a bit sensitive and luckily, these don't. The lemon taste is a pleasant shift from the harsh taste of standard white strips. My teeth do look a bit whiter with only two days of use. The instructions say your teeth should be dry when you apply the strip. A mouth opener is provided so you can use it to keep your mouth open and allow your teeth to dry before applying the strip. I've only ever used hydrogen peroxide based strips and this is not a required step for those. I have not tried using these strips without the mouth opener, so I'm not sure how if that works. Some white strips I've used in the past slipped and slid easily, while these Dr. Dents do not move at all once they stick to your dry teeth. However, when you go to remove the strips, the plastic comes off easily, leaving a lot of gel on your teeth. I've had this happen with other strips, but not to this extent. Plan on being able to brush your teeth after, the gel is quite firmly attached. Despite using gentle ingredients, feel a bit sore after use and I'm not sure if its the strips, the mouth opener, or the combination. If these continue to whiten my teeth without major issue, they will likely become my go-to simply because the pleasant taste and lack of sensitivity is appreciated. Read more

So, I have always been a stickler about my teeth. I have used almost every whitening kit/strip/paste/gel on the market. For the longest time, Crest Whitestrips have been my go-to because they worked the best. But, not only were they pretty expensive, but my teeth would be so sensitive I’d have to wait to do another treatment. On a whim, I decided to try Dr. Dent and I’m so glad I did. First of all, 21 treatments for approximately half the cost of Whitestrips (we’re in a recession - gotta save money how I can). At those prices, I had to try it. Secondly, and most importantly, NO SENSITIVITY. I could do a treatment and then do one the next day with no issues. They have helped me maintain my whiteness, and even come 2 shades whiter than I had previously. For best results, I’d suggest brushing your teeth before hand and drying your teeth off (it comes with a mouth opener but I never use it) so the strips can adhere. Then leave them on for a minimum 30 mins (40-45 seems to work best). I would do one once a day until desired whiteness and then once a week for maintenance. Another bonus is the smell/taste which is an herbal/citrusy flavor. Highly recommend! Read more

I got these whitening strips because who doesn’t want their teeth to be a little bit lighter? There are two strips per package, one that you put on your bottom teeth and one that you put on your top teeth. When you take it off after the 20 minutes are up you then have to remove all of the sticky goo that has been left on your teeth and in your mouth. On the box, it makes it clear that you’ll start seeing the difference In your teeth by day 5. I did see that my teeth had become less yellow looking and more white after putting them on every day for seven days but I quit using them after that because my bottom teeth started to get really sensitive. I didn’t have to eat or drink anything to get that feeling, a slightly cold wind could hit my teeth and I’d notice the sensitivity. For the price, I’m surprised at how many packages you receive. You also receive a tool to help widen your mouth and as dorky as it looks in the moment, it really does help. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have really strong teeth. Just go to the dentist instead because the quality is not worth this purchase. Read more

Great for those of us with sensitive teeth! Whitening strips usually cause discomfort but these did not. No burning, aching or white spots on the gums, either. All the worries we’ve have with other brands don’t happen here. There is a generous amount of product on each strip so each adheres well to the teeth. In fact, there is enough gel to squish in between teeth, which helps with hard to reach stains. Many brands of whiteners do not supply enough product for those hard to reach,In-between stains—-this is great for us heavy coffee drinkers. My teeth whitened nicely, in just a few days. All this for 1/4 of the price of the name brand strips at my local store. Glad we found Dr Dent! Read more
