The boots are comfortable with the western style look that I like ! I always order a size 10 women's when ordering boots. My shoe size is 9 to 9 1/2 depending on brand. I like the color and the stitching. Happy they have a zipper, which gives ease to put on. They do not look cheap or plastic. They are durable. I like the blocked heel and height as I am tall. ok, just got these today , first of all the gray really is a awesome smokey brown as i read in a review , and since the brown shown was more tan ,i decided to trust the review. glad i did , I didn't want tan & gray is not a color I would ever choose , so if you want a true gray do not get these !. They are sharp looking & they don't look cheap . I didn't want to ruin my really expensive boots at a outdoor concert ,so these are my back up boots. There were just as many reviews saying they were a perfect fit , as others saying to size up , I would say the size is dead on but if you wear insoles or like thick socks ,go up a 1/2 size . I'm leaving this review after dancing all night in these boots. They are so comfortable and cute. I accidentally bought two pair and was going to return one but my Sister fell in love with them and we both went to the concert in our matching boots instead. They say "square toe" but they really have a pointed toe so I'd recommend sizing up. We both wear 7.5 normally and the boots were 8 and a perfect fit. We received lots of compliments and danced all night pain free! Keep in mind we are over 50 and comfort is everything! We are wearing the dark brown and the gray. The pros: If you have been thinking about a western boot, this is a good transition boot. This is a short western boot with a snip toe. Heel height is about 1.5 inches which makes it comfortable. Love the inner side zipper quality which makes it easy for putting on and taking boots off. The outer part of boot has a traditional pull-on strap for the western boot appearance. The insole padding is comfortable. It is a PU outer so it will stretch and form to your foot faster than leather. The outer is soft and supple, looks like leather. Runs true to size.
