I needed a clock that was easy to adjust and easy to see the time. The dimmer has a lowest setting that’s still readable in a dark room without keeping you awake. I am retired so the alarm is not needed and l have Alexa when I do need one. So far I am very happy with my purchase. Read more

This clock really perplexed me when I first received it I couldn't figure out where the face was. Until I plugged it in, the display face was completely hidden and kind of 'blew my mind' for few minutes. Anyway, the clock has a bunch of data on the display ... time, date, day of week and temperature. Everything was very easy to set-up with the exception of the temperature. That appeared to be internal and automatic. I thought maybe it didn't work because it didn't change for hours. I put this clock in my living room where I watch TV. Finally the temperature changed, and I came to believe that it might really work. I hate to be negative, but the only complaint I have is there were no batteries included. What a 'cheap shot'! Batteries cost almost nothing, and to have to stop what you're doing to go buy some batteries is very annoying to me. Once I got it all set up, it looks great. Only the 'test of time' will tell if the clock is durable and robust. I would have rated this product five stars, but I am still angry about not having batteries included. Four stars gentlemen. This clock nails the basics while looking good doing it. During the day, it passes as a simple wood block on your desk or nightstand—clean, minimal. Then when the display is active, those big, bright digits pop and are incredibly easy to read from across the room. The large display is the standout feature for me. I also really like that it shows the day and date. That’s something you don’t see on a lot of clocks in this style, and it’s surprisingly useful in daily use. Setup is straightforward, and once it’s plugged in, it just works. The battery backup is a nice safety net so you don’t lose your settings during a power outage. Temperature display (with Fahrenheit/Celsius toggle) is another small but appreciated touch. The brightness controls are well done. You can dial it in manually, or just let the auto-dimmer handle it. It gets dim enough at night without being distracting, which is important for a bedside clock. Alarm has multiple volume levels, snooze, and weekday/weekend modes make it flexible depending on your schedule. Only thing to be aware of: this is not a “battery-powered” clock in the normal sense. It needs to stay plugged in to function fully. The batteries are just for backup memory. Overall, this is a clean, modern clock with a few extra features that actually matter. Looks good, easy to read, and just works. Read more
Aesthetic & Display: I was looking for something that didn't look like a cheap plastic gadget, and this wooden finish is beautiful, and it's lightweight. It fits perfectly with a more "organic" or modern home decor. The 1.8-inch digits are a huge plus; I can see the time, date, and temperature clearly from across the room without needing to squint. Smart Features (DST & Dimming) The standout for me is the Auto DST. It is such a relief not to have to pull out a manual twice a year to figure out how to change the time. The Auto-Dimmer: This is a game-changer for bedrooms. It automatically dims at 9:01 PM and brightens back up at 7:01 AM. You don't have to fiddle with it before bed, and it’s not so bright that it lights up the whole room at night. Functionality Alarm Modes: I love that you can set it for Weekday only (Mon-Fri). It’s nice not having to remember to turn off your alarm on Friday night so you can sleep in on Saturday. Battery Backup: Note that this is a plug-in clock. The batteries are just for memory backup, which is great because if the power blinks, you don't lose your settings or your alarm. Pros: Elegant wood grain finish looks like high-end decor. Extremely easy to read from a distance. Customizable alarm schedules (Weekday/Weekend/Everyday). Automatic brightness adjustment is very convenient. Cons: Since it’s a plug-in model, you’ll want to make sure you have an outlet nearby, as it won't display the time on battery power alone. Bottom Line: This is a fantastic "set it and forget it" clock. It’s stylish enough for a living room but has all the thoughtful features (like the auto-dimmer and DST) that make it perfect for a bedside table. Highly recommended! Read more
