I have NEVER had a corset that fit me without overlapping before! Absolutely amazing quality, color is spot on, looks exactly as pictured. Felt very secure and durable and I will be wearing this everywhere for the foreseeable future. Definitely better quality than any other Amazon corset I’ve seen so far. Fits perfectly and so easy to use. Read more

I am 5’1 and have a chest that’s 35 inches. I ordered the medium but it’s way too big so i suggest to size down. The measurements are wrong. Other than that the quality is very well made and it’s very comfortable! The material feels like Jean material. I would say the ribbon feels a little weak but that can be fixed with replacing it. Not the best of photos, but it shows front and back. Great corset top, got it for ren fair and was super cute! Held up nice, great quality. I had to untie most of it to get it on, but overall easy to adjust and wear. Super comfy, no complaints. I’m 5”4’, ~125lbs, usually wear a size small. Fit true to size Read more

The seams are very poor quality and were either already ripped or ripped immediately as I was trying it on. The sizing is larger than average and the piece has no structure or support. I wear a medium in everything and ordered a medium and it did not fit even when I laced it as tight as it could go. It bunched up around the bottom and would not lay flat. Read more

Cute little corset, kinda a cheaper thinner material. Runs about 2 sizes smaller so definitely size up. Tie is cheap ribbon will be replacing. I feel like I paid more than I should've for it but oh well. Read more

Summary: You definitely get what you pay for here. If you're looking for an affordable bodice top for a renfaire wardrobe and aren't looking for any support or shaping, this might be a good option. Just be aware that it is NOT reversible and runs about 3 sizes smaller than standard US sizes. As many reviewers said this garment is not reinforced-- it is a single layer of canvas/upholstery fabric with no lining, boning or reinforcement of any kind. Most bodices/corsets of this kind are made of very sturdy fabric that shapes your body, but that is simply not possible here. This bodice is very cheaply made, and is not reversible, unlike many handmade bodices you will find from other shops/faires. The inside has raw seams. As such, the bodice will offer no support or "corset" structure; it will be nearly impossible to "lace down" in this. Another consequence of the lack of structure is that this bodice will certainly roll up when you sit and move, so keep that in mind. But the biggest issue here is sizing. I am currently a street size 3X, sometimes a 4X. Based on the measurements, I thought a 5X would be acceptable since the lacing could accommodate for the rest, but I was incorrect. According to the size guide, the 5X fits a 47" bust, which is the equivalent of a 2X in most plus size brands, but I question if it truly opened to 47" at the bust because it was easily 2 sizes too small, even with wide lacing. This might just be a problem with their plus size items, but I'd still encourage you to buy a minimum of two sizes up from your regular size [+3 sizes if you're busty] and maybe order early to ensure it fits if you need it for an event. The photos don't do a great job of showing the back, so here are some details I noticed: the back comes to a point just like the front, which is pretty unusual, as most bodices are cut straight on the bottom seam for comfort and fit. Also, although the straps tie on in the front, this is a decorative feature, as they are sewn on in the back. Not sure why they made that choice. If it had fit, I probably would have kept it because it's decently affordable compared to what you can find at the faires, but if you're at all handy with a needle and thread you can make a bodice of this quality yourself in an afternoon. And for a little more than twice the price you can support some amazing artisans on etsy and get something custom made, so maybe go that route! Read more

It runs very small so size up 1 to 2 sizes. I am a 38 C and 32 waist and usually wear a large. I ordered a 1X and it fits a tiny bit big but works beautifully over the flowy sleeved dress I bought for Halloween. It's not a corset that gives you a waist but it is very beautiful, made well and works perfect for a costume. Read more
