Fabulous high waisted pants. I washed it by itself first time, in the delicate cycle with cold water. Then I hung it to dry. No issues with it after washing. Seems to run a bit big, except for the length and I am NOT on the short side for my weight so they look a bit short on me if I pull them high. But I prefer a larger fit pant for my personal comfort and style. The color didn’t seem to fade any with washing. They seem to be wrinkle resistant and the waist is very comfortable and stretchy. I really appreciate the stretchy waist because it can be placed at different levels of my waist depending on my shirt, plus it’s comfortable and makes the length better. I'm not sure how these pants are greatly different from all but one of the handful I have ordered from Joycatch, to be honest. I think that's a good thing, generally speaking. At any rate, these fit fine. Back pockets are false pockets. Come with belt loops, though I don't understand why given these pants have a strong elastic waistband and are the pull-on type. Actually, that's probably the one thing that bugs me: the belt loops don't stay flush with the waistband. It's like there's too much material used to make the belt loops but I don't really know—that's just my guess. I only mention this because with movement, the loops can take a convex conformation and run the silhouette. This pair is best worn high up on the waist. I’m not much of a wide leg girlie but thought I’d give this a try. With the right top, belt and pointy heels, it looks good and classy. It’s soft and flowy so you don’t feel restricted. I’m rectangular shape and in between small and medium but I went with a medium to be safe. It fit great and the length was not a problem if I sure at least 3 inch heels. Real front pockets. Back are just decor pockets. The only thing I didn’t like was the belt loops.
