This fit perfectly and I received so many compliments. Very slinky, but not immodest. I felt comfortable in it for hours. My only complaint is the back. I was pulling at the back to make sure my bra was covered in the back. I recommend wearing a backless bra or one with a clasp low in the back because it did stick out sometimes and it made me self-conscious. But other than that, it was gorgeous and well worth it. So comfortable. Heavy weight, thick soft lining extremely well made. I’m 5’4” 160 pounds. The large was too big in the shoulders. Returned it ( try before you buy) Medium was perfect! Very stretchy. I may have been able to wear a small. Classy and the black color is beautiful with the nude lining. Gives appearance of skin through the beading.it’s thick fabric but I wasn’t hot in it inside at the gala this November. Extremely comfortable I’m beyond happy with this purchase! Read more

This dress is heavy, actual weight of the dress, and it isn’t a summer dress. It is conservative and sexy, which is not always an easy combination to find. Form fitting, but still forgiving of some imperfections that come with age. I’m in my 50’s and currently have a curvy figure-not overly fat, but definitely not skinny. I wore it to a work gala held at a museum, and it was perfect for the event. The beading makes the dress look more expensive than it is. It is age appropriate without being frumpy. Read more

This dress fits very well and has a lot of give and thus is quite forgiving. It is heavy as other reviewers stated but not so much I wouldn’t wear it. As my daughter stated I look elegantly middle aged (i am 50). The back adds a little sexy to the look. I bought a size S and am 5’6” and 125lbs. It does fall well below the knee. Read more
