Thick and durable glasses with a contemporary design. The size is more than large enough with the large fitting 18 ounces and the smaller size fitting 12 ounces - more than enough for a variety of uses since it really isn't as small as it initially seems. The small works great for wine or cocktails and the opening fits a large whiskey cube or ball. The bases are slightly weighted so they don't tip when jostled. Due to the slight flair at the bottom, the glasses fit great in the hand and they are easy to hold even when full. We don't worry about putting them through the dishwasher since they don't feel fragile or like they will chip. Great value for everyday glassware and the set is suitable for gift-giving. Read more

this eight piece glassware set is extremely thick and durable. They are also quite beautiful. They feature a lovely design where the bottom swells out a bit and they fit nicely in your hand. The two size glasses that come with a set are perfect for a large glass of water and maybe some juice with breakfast. They are extremely easy to clean. I just throw them in the dishwasher and they come out sparkling and beautiful. They do not take up much space in my cupboard. I could actually fit another set or two.
