This playpen is AWESOME. Normally I would have docked a star because my only complaint is that there's no padding or pad to put in it, but honestly I can't even dock the star for that because this thing is incredible. It's versatile, it's spacious, I freaking love that the zipper locks automatically. Setup was pretty fast and easy as well. It's super sturdy, structurally sound if you will haha. Plus the little handles to pull up on the sides are a major bonus with a young one learning to walk!!!! The thing is absolutely lifesaver. And the fact that it fits in our living room is 🤌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 (For perspective, we live in a trailer, so space tends to be limited!) I don't have a single complaint at all about this playpen, definitely one of the best purchases I've ever made and also--- balling on a super tight budget here-- the cost was more than reasonable for such a phenomenal playpen!!!! Recently purchased this playpen and overall I’m very happy with it. The assembly was easy, and the rods fit smoothly without much effort, which made setup quick and hassle-free. The build quality feels good and reliable for everyday use. Bottom corner suction cups are great, which holds well on hard floors and keeps the playpen stable. The mat could be better in terms of cushioning, but it’s acceptable considering the price point. There was some new product plastic smell for a day or two but nothing after. Cleaning is easy, color is as expected. Thickness of rod covers are good. Delivery was prompt and packaging was secure. This playpen was perfect for what I needed. It was easy to assemble and it’s lightweight. You do need something for the bottom for cushion if placing on a hard floor. I love that it came with a bag so if traveling we could disassemble and take with us. This is NOT like a pack n play, disassembling is a bit of a chore, I had a hard time pulling the pieces apart again, but it is doable. Definitely something to set up and be stationary unless taking on a trip where it can eve stationary again. The size was amazing for our space. I intended to put it in a corner of our playroom. That way baby could be safe from hazardous toys older siblings have and it not take up the middle of the floor. He had a good amount of room to crawl around with his toys. Some of my older kids even climbed in with him and I could easily fit with baby as well. I highly recommend if you need a place for your little one to play freely without worry of them hurting themselves. My baby however was not a fan of being so confined. He is used to being more free. REVIEW UPDATE: Dripex sent me their new redesigned playpen as a replacement for the old one, which I had given one star. The new one, although much smaller, is SIGNIFICANTLY better. It's easy to put together, stays together, has padding to covering the connections, and is overall very sturdy and great quality. Original review for old product: This thing is awful. Setting it up is so beyond difficult - getting the bottom and the top to latch at the same time is next to impossible. And then it still comes apart / doesn't lock in correctly. Even my husband who is extremely handy struggled to put this thing together. We've had it for almost two months and haven't even really used it yet because our baby is still a newborn, and it's already unlocking on every panel and is falling down / coming apart just from it being bumped into or moved slightly. It's more than frustrating. I'm trying to put it back together and am ready to pick it up and throw it out my front door. I wish we bought something else. Read more
Once my baby started crawling, he became curious about everything around the house, which made me a bit worried about safety. Since we don’t have a lot of space, I was looking for a smaller playpen, and this one turned out to be a great fit. The mesh fabric is soft and breathable, and assembly wasn’t too complicated. It even comes with two pull rings so my baby can hold on and practice standing, while the height is still secure enough for peace of mind. The frame feels sturdy and stable.
