I NEVER thought I'd need or own a cane. But, being almost to my mid-60's, Which is NOT OLD...but "Old enough"...I found myself NEEDING one. I have an arthritis condition that affects my joints...and has done a job on my feet. Your Feet are like your back...you don't realize you have a "good back" till you have a "bad back". My back is fine...but 2 weeks ago...my Feet...LEFT foot mostly, hurt as though I was walking on LEGO blocks...ouch..right? Every step and adventure. SO..I bought a cane...THIS cane...and it WORKS...it takes the pressure off every step and has given me mobility without AS Much pain. I'm getting better...but relying on this Cane....and I'm glad I bought it. The product: Ultra-sturdy metal cane, fully adjustable, with a solid rubber foot, and an ultra-comfortable curved foam cover handle. Adjustable with a "button" which pops into sizing holes....and a tightening ring - loosen to adjust length...tighten to firm up cane when properly sized. This cane is a fine piece of engineering, likely to last a very long time...and although "medical - looking" it's sleek and shiny and looks as good as it works. AT under $11...I bought 2...in case it runs out on Amazon. Read the booklet that comes wrapped on the cane to figure out sizing. The Function: The best thing about this cane is the foam handle....for hand comfort...which is a great feature...but also because the cane stays where you lean it...the foam "catches" and the cane doesn't fall over....against all surfaces. The curved handle can be put on doorknobs...etc... or just put the "end" on a counter top and it will hang there. ie...this cane becomes part of you... Lastly...This cane is your longer arm...your 3rd leg...and will help me get through this subsiding pain. I use it in my right hand to take pressure off my left foot. Get one if you need one. - Customer Cool 9/30/2020 Read more

I am 6’ tall and am 450 lbs. I am handicapped by a fused ankle surgery and need additional support to be able to walk. I am able to adjust the length of this cane for a comfortable height. And am overly surprised by the size and comfort of the grip. It is better than any other cane I have used, and I’ve had a few. I currently have 6 different styles of canes presently. Many costing many times more than this one. But I always grab this one when I need to go anywhere. It’s a simple product that satisfies my needs and is very comfortable. Read more

Right out of the box I took this cane on a two-mile evening walk. Easier to use than any other cane I've ever used. So easy to adjust, easy to switch from one hand to the other, lightweight, sure and easy to walk with, and can be held over your arm while you take a picture or shop, or hung over the back of a chair. It has replaced an all-terrain folding cane which was all it is advertised to be, but for me was heavy and tiring, and the wrist loop was awkward and got tangled up. I am so happy with this simple Drive cane! It even helps me up and down steep inclines. Completely quiet; if it begins to rattle, just tighten the height adjustment locking ring. To clean the foam handle while still on the cane, put a small line of Dawn dish detergent on each side of the foam handle. Hold it under warm running water and repeatedly squeeze gently until the water runs clear. Dry with a hand towel. Still looks and feels like new after almost two years (September 2023 - June 2025) of long all-terrain walks. Read more

PRO: adjustable lengths, sturdy, great price. CON: Handle-cushion VERY THICK, Too Thick - Makes it Difficult to Grip, especially if your hands are smaller/female, and makes it 'look too medical', not good for elderly, frail or a younger person who doesn't want to shout 'infirmity'. Read more

Solid cane and my favorite as it’s heavy duty. The cushioned hand grip is comfortable and can lean against surfaces without sliding (standing upright). Read more

I had previously ordered a folding cane for my mom, but even the lowest height was too tall for her 5 feet tall frame, making it uncomfortable for use. I found a couple other shorter folding canes but I was disturbed by reviews of them breaking on the users. My mom is terminally ill and fragile—there is no way I want to risk a folding cane breaking on her. So I went searching on medical equipment sites to see what brands they carry. This cane is the shortest among the known medical equipment brands. It is not attractive but safety is a higher priority for us. I bought it here because I know Amazon has an easy return policy and the price is great. My mom loves it! She says it feels so sturdy and supportive. She is now using it regularly, and I feel so much better not worrying about her constantly, including whether she should walk outside her house to pick up the mail since she has a downward sloping driveway. While not "pretty", this cane is practical, comfortable, sturdy, lightweight and easy to handle. It has easy to follow directions for your specific length and is a breeze to adjust, it doesn't fold, but I don't have enough strength to fold canes anyway. When carrying a handbag-or anything- plus a cane it can be a juggling act, and this can be hung from the crook your arm so you can use both hands. The generous foam handle keeps it from sliding over if you lean it against something, and I love that I can hang it over the back of a church pew, doorknob, chair back etc. After using it I have ordered more, as my friends all want one now!
