Cushion and comfort for old knees.
Honest review: Can't speak to longevity of the boot, haven't had them long enough, but can speak to the comfort, fit, traction, etc. I work for a living, actual manual labor work and I'm getting old. The cushion of this boot greatly surprised me. I abandoned Muck boots years ago when their quality plummeted and have been in search of a muck-type boot ever since. This is the boot. The most cushion of any muck boot I've owned. Almost as cushiony as my Keen extra cushiony boots. If you have sore knees, back, etc. and need a muck boot, this is the boot for you. Ladies, if you work, you generally buy mens boots, because you know they are better. Not with this boot. Even though the description says mens, that is a mistake. They are womens boots, and Dryshod got it right with this one. The traction is great. I spent all of yesterday slopping around in a muddy mess of a wood pile 20' high, jumping in and out of loaders, never slipped once and no knee pain. Feet warm and dry in rainy 35-40 degree weather. Have yet to wear them in extreme cold (have yet to find any muck boot that stays warm in extreme cold) but will update the review when I do. So far the value for the money is excellent. So far, Dryshod has made me a customer for life. And, they are made in Texas! One more thing; the fit. I generally wear a size 9-10 in womans, size 7-9 in mens depending on the boot. I bought a size 10 in these which is a tiny bit too big with normal socks, but will fit perfectly with heavy winter socks. Also, the sole is just flexible enough to where the bending, stooping is still comfortable and not restrictive. The only complaint I may have (but not yet) is arch support, but time will tell. Full disclosure: had them for a day, but the cushion impressed me so much and I've been working in boots so long I knew immediately these boots were quality. I just hope they stay that way and dont sacrifice the quality over the years as other brands have done. Read more
