Test test test!
So ... I'm, apparently, not very good at matching colors. I repaired a hutch during the evening hours only to find the color didn't match the wood in the daylight hours! Don't do what I did and finish the entire project only to find out you were doing it wrong! Test an area, then finish it tomorrow after you've seen how it looks in different lighting throughout the day. Fortunately, it was easy to fix my error. I simply removed some and colored over others to blend and shape. My hutch looks very nice, now. The product works only as well as it's user! Read more

colors not for lighter wood, like oak
Two of the lighter brown colors are more red. Didn't match wood despite cap showing they were supposed to be lighter brown. The very lightest one wasn't covering up scratches. I liked the idea of the dual ends, one narrow, one wide, but the wide end one didn't work (seemed dried out) and the narrow end was just ok. I like the Parker and Bailey better. Read more
