Didn’t work in Europe. I even bought the accompanying voltage plug that works with it. Too bad, I really wanted this to work. It wasn’t the outlet, as I tried it in 2 outlets in my hotel room, and tried my other electronics in those outlets, and they worked. Too bad. They don’t sell a barrel curling iron in Europe, either. I have flown to Europe from the US every week for the past 37 years, so believe me, I’ve tried many curling irons. It has a US outlet, so I’m sure it will work well in the US, but please don’t advertise this for working in Europe. Read more

I got the 11/2 inch barrel and the tiny voltage button got jammed and I couldn't use it on my trip. The button is flat and hardly presses in and once it does, it is hard to change it. Could only switch the voltage a couple times. It got fried on the trip after that and now I can't even use it at home in the U.S. Such a shame as the rest of the product is of quality. Read more

This product would probably work great for short hair. I have LONG THICK hair. All this did was rip it out and the straightener part was useless didn't really hold hair falls right out of the gap. Weird. Would not recommend for thick or long hair. Read more
I just got this iron yesterday and used it on my long, thick hair today. I already love it. I mostly dry my hair with a regular blow dryer (so I don't burn it with the iron), and it comes out a bit wild looking. I then section it out and roll each one quickly and I can't believe how smooth it comes out. Not curly at all, just smooth and slightly under. I am very happy with it. Read more
