I couldn't wait to use it when I received it, I used it right away because it amazed me, it exceeded my expectations from the moment I saw it, the truth is that this hair straightener is worth every dollar, it is easy to handle, it heats up very quickly, the size is perfect, you can even carry it in your purse, in addition to all that it works perfectly which is the main thing, and how heavy it is for its size tells you that it must be quality, I am truly excited about this item. Purchased for a trip to Ireland. It worked great with the plug adapter that I used for all my electronics. I didn’t want to get a different voltage convertor just to bring along my curling iron. This one works with dual voltage so it can support the Voltage provided in the US (110V) and the higher voltages overseas. (220V) I used it with no issues in Ireland, and it’s my new travel curling iron for trips in the US because it’s compact and fits easily in a carry on or backpack. My only issue is the barrel is shorter than a standard curling iron so it took some getting used to when styling my hair. I would totally recommend. Read more
This dual use curling iron was fantastic. I travel a fair amount so was excited when it arrived. It worked great. But then the bottom plastic part literally melted on the 3rd use. It would have burned my head had I not noticed. Serious quality issue. It may be ok at 110 but I used it in Europe which was the reason I bought it. I don't like leaving negative reviews but I would want to know if I were looking to buy this. Read more
I think this was a great concept, but it didn't really work out for me. Neither performs well. However, the flat iron portion is usable but the curling portion is a total bust. Pros: 1) My hair is a mess in the morning and the flat iron portion does a decent job smoothing out my hair. 2) It's dual voltage. Cons: 1) The way this is structured, when you grasp it to press the lever, it is really easy to touch the wrong part of the barrel on the underside and burn yourself. 2) If you have long hair, the barrel is too short to get a decent curl, but this is understandable since it's compact for travel. 3) It doesn't get hot enough to curl my stiff hair, but it may work for someone who has fine hair. 4) There is a gap between were the plate meets the barrel and the handle. That gap won't grasp onto hair; therefore, I always had a bundle that slipped out and didn't curl. 5) The pivot point snags hair and rips it out. This isn't a problem if you're using the flat iron part. All in all, I think if you're only using this a few times a year for travel, it's tolerable. For daily use, get a regular curling iron. This is a frustrating tool to use. Read more

I have been attempting to pack as light as I can these days. Not only to avoid excess baggage fees but to simplify how much I have to drag around the airport. I needed a small and compact curling iron that wasn't too heavy or bulky. This is it! I'm very grateful for those people who wrote reviews about the temperature issues. Yes, this iron gets very hot, very quickly. I just use the lower setting and keep the contact with my hair at a minimum. It works perfectly in all aspects and allows me to travel with just a personal item and my purse, no carry on or checked baggage. Read more
