At only about 30 cents per marker this set is a great value. There is good color vibrancy across all the colors, some do write darker than others. I tested one of each color and three of those 12 markers had issues with the bullet tip being too soft or frayed. I tested each color and erased with an eraser immediately (column 2), erased with your hand 5 minutes later (column 3) and erased with an eraser 5 minutes laters (column 4) to test if they smear when erased. They did a decent job at erasing without smearing, comparable to name brand but not great. For the price these are fine, would be great for students to use in the classroom. The inconsistent quality of the tips is the reason for it being 4 stars.
