Okay, you saw $10.00 a bar for Leather and Leaf and thought “are they nuts, I’d NEVER, in this life or any other pay that for a bar of soap!” And that’s exactly what I thought until I read all the reviews and thought, okay, I’ve wasted $30 on sillier things, I’ll give it a shot. Have to admit this was one time I was NOT disappointed with the product. Normally, when a soap company advertises that their product lathers well it also corresponds to the bar of soap deteriorating quickly and a $10 bar of soap disappears down the drain in no time flat. Not the case with Duke Cannon. It lathers really well and one bar lasts a little more than a month, and that’s showering twice a day! Oh, did I mention the size of the bar? They are HUGE! In fact they are so big I had to order a bigger soap holder for the shower and it was still too small! The Leather and Leaf leaves a very pleasant after fragrance on your skin. In summary: Three bars for $30 lasting a little more than three months. More expensive than you might normally spend? Maybe, but for me it’s worth every penny. Read more

The smell of this soap is very rustic and masculine. The size of the bars is awesome and lasts a long time before having to break out the next one. The issue I have is the poor condition it arrived in. I know it’s just soap and it will still work all the same but the condition it got to me in looked like someone had played hockey with it. The boxes were demolished and the soap all had huge chunks and gashes in it from being hit and thrown into things. I’m not worried about how it will work but when I spend so much on a bar of soap I would expect it in better shape when it arrives. Read more

I have used Duke Cannon soap for a few years. It is pricey but that is made of for its size and how long it lasts. I recommend storing it on a rack that allows the water on soap to drain from underneath. This will also help last longer. My favorite is gunsmoke and leaf and leather. Definetly somewhat close to those smells. The scents stay on you long after wash. These are big bars and even with my large hands it will slip out. This is a great product and they support great causes for.military and vets. But the soap itself is great. 1 bar equals roughly 3 regular bars. Read more
