I’m really happy with this pressure cooker. It heats up quickly, cooks food evenly, and has made my meal prep much easier. The pot feels sturdy and well-made, and the safety features give me peace of mind. I’ve used it for beans, stews, and rice, and everything comes out perfect. Definitely a good value for the price. Pretty good. Does a bunch of other stuff you can make oatmeal in it? You can make rice. You can steam vegetables soup. It's a slow cooker. You can even bake a cake in it and make stew and multigrain bread, yeah just got to figure out how to use the pressure cooker because I don't see anything that says pressure cooker but I've used it for other things. I've made a roast in it and a few other things and it just comes out. Out pretty terrific. Like everything else there is a learning curve Read more

I bought this Dumos pressure cooker a few weeks ago and I was surprised how practical it is. It heats up quickly, maintains the pressure very well and greatly reduces the cooking time. I use it mainly for beans, meats and broths, and they are always soft and well cooked without having to be checking every now and then. The design is resistant, the lid seals well and the valve is easy to handle even if you have never used a pressure cooker. I also like that it is light and easy to clean, which makes one use it more often without thinking about it. In general, I think it's a very good purchase for its price and how well it works. Recommended for those looking to cook faster and more efficiently. Read more

just make sure you put a cup of water inside if you plan on cooking with pressure. the slow cook and saute modes dont use pressure. there isnt a manual mode but I think poultry and steam cover that. steam is shorter and good for reheating food. poultry good for things that may take longer. but its okay to release the pressure to check so you can see what it looks like inside. the inner pot is very easy to clean. try not to use metal it will just preserve your inner pot. i haven't had any issues yet. you can cook a whole chicken in here so i recommend cornish hens so its faster. its already pretty fast with a whole chicken anyways. i even made breakfast in here lol. i definitely recommend getting one of these if you like cooking rice in large batches or whatever. make stocks, stews, broths, whatever in here. its very convenient with no mess unless you didn't read the manual which you should. I love this. It takes the place of my old crock pot for slow cooking and adds rice cooker and so much more. I only have one issue....my granddaughter was watching me prepare food and knocked the lid onto the floor and something inside broke. Now it won't lock into place. I can get it to turn on but it never leaves the preheat phase and I have to be right on top of it to watch it cook. Read more

I have owned other instant pots. I have never owned a pot where you CANNOT program the time. I had a vegetable soup recipe that called for 5 minutes and the only way to cook for 5 minutes was to pull the plug and turn it off. I also have bone broth recipes that I have made in the past that requires 3 hours of instant pot cooking time. Not possible with this pot, you have to babysit your pot so you can set the timer again. You call customer support and are told to send an email, you cannot get ahold of a person. I also had questions about where to buy replacement silicone rings. NO HELP AT ALL FROM THEM. THEY DO NOT SELL PARTS AND CAN NOT TELL YOU WHERE TO FIND THEM. I swap out my silicone seals depending on what I am cooking. I would NOT recommend this pot unless you only need to use the pre-programed settings. I do like the non-stick stainless steel pot itself. Read more
