This table is a great value. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the wood top and sturdiness of the stand. Easy assembly. It is just the right height and size. Being in I.T. This was the best little table I could find for less than $20 and it wasn't disappointing! Good size & construction! The parts all seem well made & sturdy with the X-brace to make so it won't wobble. The others didn't have that & I think it makes a big difference. There's a support to keep the top from sagging too. And it was easy to put together. I got the wood looking top & it looks nice. This is a nice little desk. Perfect for my space and pretty sturdy. It was easy to put together and I love the rich black color. I will try to preserve it by placing a computer mat over it at some point. My only dislike are the (4) four end caps, perhaps to keep walls from being scratched and creating “clean” edges. They did not secure to the desk without continuously falling off, so I used wood glue to attach them permanently. Pretty easy and quick to assemble, seems to be sturdy, and fits the aesthetic of my work space/studio. I imagine a light cleaning wipe or occasional dusting is all this needs to stay clean and neat. Read more

Exactly the table l've been looking for!!! Finding a small sturdy table no deeper than 20” without obstructive bracing has been a challenge. I thought I might have to build one to fit my needs but this table is perfect! I'm using it as a serving table in kitchenette guest quarters to hold various small appliances (coffee service, air fryer, etc.). The top has a very nice finish and looks resistant to wear (as advertised) but since I will be using an air fryer I will use protection to keep the top pristine. I might even head to ikea and purchase one of their thin laminated kitchen countertops, cut it to size and lay it over the existing table top. (I could use other, much simpler protection but this would match the adjoining wet bar area countertop). Since the table is rated to hold over 265#, has center bracing is very sturdy I think this would work nicely. However if you are using the table for normal use no protection would be necessary. The table is attractive, has a minimal footprint and designed in a way the stabilizer bars don't obstruct using the space under the table, essential for storage underneath.
