Dunlop Latex Mattress Topper - Medium - 3 - King

So happy with this topper! I have it on top of an older tempurpedic mattress that is just too hard. I’ve tried many ways to soften it from the egg crate toppers, several memory foam toppers with different covers, to combinations that included down toppers, and all were comfortable to varying degrees. But this is by far the best one yet. I live in South Fl. so heat is an issue. This one sleeps cooler than anything I’ve tried. It has a bit less give, which takes some getting used to, but I’m waking up with much less back and shoulder pain. After opening the package there was little to no smell but I let it air out for 24 hours before putting it on the bed. I bought the cover as well and that actually smelled a bit but was also fine after 24 hours. This is the first mattress pad I have ever bought that actually covers the entire mattress without leaving that annoying 1-2” gap at the top or bottom! I bought king size with the cover and it’s heavy, so wrestling the cover on (68yo female) isn’t fun but it’s doable. Also, in case you’re worried, I am allergic to latex and have asthma as well. Also fibromyalgia, back problems, and probably arthritis. However, I haven’t had any issues or symptoms since sleeping on this topper. Do your own research. Mine proved very rewarding for my 3” mattress topper. Very new challenge will be getting up. Best sleep in my life because Dunlap natural latex is from Mother Earth. Nothing will break down like man made foams. Back sleeping with 100% support which is a relation of density. My medium spec is perfect. I bought the organic cover as well. Read more

Unbelievable fumes permeate everything. Don't let go of your previous mattress topper for a month before you use this. Let it air out in your garage for a month before use. \ Otherwise, it's exactly as described and of good quality. UPDATE: We had to throw it out. After 4 months outside and in garage, it still stank. I was needing a topper for my camper mattress as it had 2 levels under it making it hirt our backs. It worked. We do not feel pain in our backs. Also a huge bonus is IT DOES NOT GET HOT! We have slept on memory foam for too many years tossing due to heat. I will buy latex from now on. Read more

I bought three layers of latex toppers and made my own king size mattress. It worked very well. I put a firm layer on the bottom, then a medium, and then for half the top I put another medium for my side, and a soft on my wife's side. It is much better than any spring mattress we have owned. If I had it to do over I might put a soft layer on both sides for the top since the medium is a bit on the firm side for my tastes. But once we put a thick mattress pad on top that was no longer a problem. Read more

I bought this back in June 2020 to replace our existing Latex topper that was a couple of years old. I loved the old one, had zero issues with it, but when it was time to buy a new one they were no longer available, so I went with this one. I had no heat problems with the old one, I never woke up hot or uncomfortable, until the very end, and it was slightly uncomfortable which told me it was time to replace it. I ended up going with this one from Latex Mattress Factory. I knew from the first night it wasn't as good as the previous one, but told myself to give it some time and maybe it will be better over time. No.. just no. I'm past the 6 month mark and am waking up HOT every single time from this topper. It's not ME because I'm fine if I'm not in bed on this topper! I really regret this purchase, part of me has to wonder if it's not really memory foam, because it's HOT like memory foam which is what caused me to go to latex in the first place. I can't speak for little pieces of it coming off because I put it in the cover from the previous one, why a topper in this price range doesn't come with a cover is beyond me, but it didn't, so I used the old one.
