I learned something that I didn't expect, I always use new Energizer batteries for smoke detectors and my alarm batteries. I have motion detectors and for some reason after about three months they needed to be replaced. So I installed another Energizer and the same problem. I called the alarm company and asked what the problem was and they suggested two other companies and one was Duracell so I ran to the store and bought Duracell and of course paid big bucks. So far it's been five months with no problems. I bought these for a back up at a much better price. I still can't believe that the Energizers didn't hold up. The alarm company was correct when they said Energizer don't last long in motion detectors. Very disappointed about Energizer batteries. Read more
