Good price for older batteries
The estimated shelf life of alkaline batteries, according to the interwebs, is about 10 years. The batteries I received are dated best before March 2027 so they've been sitting around for about 6.5 years. That may be why this seemed like a good deal at $7.99 for 4 batteries. The expiration is just an estimate and not at all a concern if you're using them immediately. The batteries work just fine in my old HP-28S, but don't buy more than you need. Read more
