I never listen to reviews that suggest sizing up or down but the amount of people saying to size down was overwhelming so I did. And oh boy, im so glad I did. I usually wear a 8.5 or 9 and bought the 8. It fits perfectly! There is some heel slip but I read it is normal for new leather boots. It fits perfect everywhere else so im not worried about it. They feel and look great. My only con is that the construction of the bottom part of the shoe is a little messy. Not enough to look bad and you cant tell unless you are really looking at it. Its just like glue and untrimmed rubber. Nothing major. Super comfortable right out of the box and I expect it to be even more so once broken in a bit. Love em. So cool and exactly what I was looking for in a moto boot. Read more

I love these boots! I was on a trip to Arizona with friends and one of them had these boots. I ordered them right away and couldn't wait to get home to see them. They look adorable with skinny jeans tucked in, flared jeans over the boots and with cute dresses....short and long! I normally wear 6 1/2 - 7 in shoes and ordered the 7 so I could wear with socks during the winter months. They fit perfect and are very comfortable. The leather is high quality. I highly recommend these boots!! Read more

if your calves are bigger than 14in then these wont go over them. the boot looks great and the quality seems quite good. RE: Calf size i am a small, slender person with large calves, so i have difficulty finding tall boots i can wear. at the time that i bought these, i was doing martial arts (muay thai and krav maga) multiple times a week, so my calves had gotten even bigger and these boots could not fit over them. the boots had to kind of scrunch up below my calf, but i figured the quality of the boot is very good and they will be great in the winter and inclement weather, so i dont mind if theyre scrunched. also im sure over time they will stretch out a bit. anyway, since covid happened i havent been able to go to the gym and my calves have shrunk down to their natural size of 14 inches, which is still large, but now the boots fit. Finally a pair of boots that don’t feel like you’re wearing rain boots especially in the calves. I searched hi and lo for a replacement harness boot after I wore mine out completely. I was unable to repurchase my OGs because the company discontinued them. I have a feeling most of the reviewers making the same statement had the same boot from that same well known company. I tried on several boots from well known companies such as Ariat, Justin boots, Laredo, Ad Tec and others but none fit right. Too tight here, too loose there, why is it pinching my heel, is that a tourniquet or the vamp, so loose I could karate kick it across the room due to the insanely wide calf shafts to more hilarious and annoying try on attempts. These Durango’s are more comfortable than any boot I tried. Some pros: They’re super comfortable from the get, no breaking/very little break in period required. It has a balanced heel and shaft distribution. It sports a normal width calf shaft, which seems to be hard to come by these days. They are made with real oiled leather and the distinct scent of leather. Solid rubber soles and well balanced heel to boot. Regarding sizing: Contrary to many reviews these boots are true to size but final sizing depends on your foot type. By true to size I mean order the size that you normally would. Per their sizing guidelines the boots do appear to longer than noted by about 0.2”. Also take into consideration the snoot toe and the fact that our toes don’t go all the way to the end but do shift forward when walking. If you are between sizes it comes down to your foot type. 👉🏼If you have slim and slender feet I would suggest your regular size or going down a half size. 👉🏼If you have wide feet, your regular size may fit just right. If you want extra space and usually go up a half size - you can use an insert to adjust for the excess space. The boots have space to accommodate for wider feet. If you sport slender feet you will feel all the additional space but if you have wider feet you will fill in that space. It’s a matter of personal preference. How tight or how loose do you want your boot to feel. If you go with a larger size you’ll have slightly more length space too which you can add an insole insert and make them even more comfortable Plus have the ability to wear thick wool socks during winter, which the smaller size may not allow depending on your foot type. When trying these on always take feet swelling into consideration. Try them on first thing in AM and also at night when our feet swell the most so your feet can be comfortable throughout. That evening test is the final indicator if they’ll be too tight or just right. Cons: The glue used on the soles is indeed messy looking and could have been done with more care, but in long run they’re hopefully well sealed and won’t be noticeable after some wear. The insole portion is a bit odd. There is a piece of material glued to the heel portion overlapping some stitched/glued-in padding. There are no insoles to remove. If you go with the half size larger you can purchase and place a full size insole that will remedy the space issue and give you additional comfort and cushion. If you go with your usual size or had smaller and want a little more comfort you can look into 3/4 inserts which wouldn’t squeeze your toe box allowing for wiggle room. There are numerous brands out there with varying degrees of thickness to accommodate the right comfort for everyone. This would have been an easy 5 stars but the tricky sizing, messy glue job and lack of proper insole (or preferred removable insole) folded into the rating. Happy boot hunting! Hopefully this was helpful. Read more

For those uncertain about the size. I always wear a size 9.5, and decided to stick with it this time too. I don't regret it. Yes, they are slightly big and I could have fit into a 9, but I'd rather be able to wear a thick sock if needed and have a little extra room than have none and get sore feet at the end of the day. They are extremely comfortable. No problem putting them on. So yeah I'm glad I ordered my usual size. Those who usually wear 9.5 like me, go for it or if you want to get a 9 it will be fine too, depends on how you plan on using them and what season you plan on wearing them too. wouldn't recommend going below 9 though. A good quality boot, with a nice heel height. Not too high, but a good length for boot flare jeans. I got brown, which was a good color, caramel-like. Worth every penny! However, I didn’t think about how to put your foot in. There’s no side zipper. It pushes your sock back, so that your toes are crunched up. If you have ingrown toenails, this is a problem. So I gotta send them back, regretfully. Read more
