Ordered this hat for my 18 month old with a 92 percentile head. It fits great now and i'm hoping he'll be able to wear it for the next few summers. I really like that the chin strap is detachable - I haven't seen that feature with any other sun hats I have. My son definitely needs the chin strap this year, but as he gets older he may be responsible enough to take it off and just wear it as a bucket hat. The hat seems well made and a perfect size (brim isn't too big or small), and I love the various colors on the design I received to go with different swimsuits. Read more

This sun hat is perfect for my 18 month old! The quality feels well made, the material is so soft and the inside mesh material is also soft and breathable. My son is three months old - since sun screen under six months isn’t recommended I wanted a hat. This is thin, easy to fold up and stuff in our diaper bag. It fits his head well with a little room - he is a larger baby. I will say the brim is a little large for me to wear him while he’s wearing it but the brim is kind of the point. I really like that they publish the UPF rating for clothing and hats! Little faces are hard places to apply sunblock - a hat is a much better option. This is a great hat because the strap will let you put this head onto nearly any size head, so the 12 to 24 size is good for under 12 to maybe up to 2 or 3 years old.
