DWTS DANWEITESI Glass Cups with Lids and Straws 24 oz Smoothie Cup with Lid and Straw-Boba Mason Jar

I looked at quite a few different brands of glass drinking cups with lids but this is the only one I found that had 3 different styles of lids! The cup is sturdy and not as fragile as I had feared due to some of the comments of other customers on this and other brands. I do not have stone counter tops like most people do and I noticed in many of the pictures from customers who talked about the bottoms of the glass cups breaking or chipping also had stone counter tops which would be more likely to cause damage if the glass cup was set down harder or dropped a slight distance. The only thing I wasn't enamored about was the straight glass straws these come with so I also ordered some bent glass straws ( as shown in my photos - it is the Renyih 10 pcs. Reusable Bent Glass Drinking Straws); the bent straws are smaller in diameter but are tall enough and thick enough to work very well. I like that the glasses are clear so I can see the liquid's level, and they are very easy to clean; I washed them by hand and let them air-dry. I have no trouble hanging onto the glass when drinking from them; I wear a size 8.5 women's glove or a small size in men's glove. I really like the screw on lids, both styles, and I use the holed-one as pictured because I like the assurance of the lid not popping off. The wood-holed lids are snug though and I will try them next. Although the cups are nothing fancy to look at, neither are they ugly. Background: I normally use these cups for smoothies, iced coffee, iced matcha, bubble tea, or iced tea! I've had these cups for about a year now. Pros: - Hold the perfect amount of liquid even with ice. (I use a small single ninja blender and that amount fits perfectly in this cup) -Cute aesthetic -Easy use - Lids fit well (make sure you are taking the rubber piece out of the wood piece when washing to decrease mold build up, I personally haven't had any mold on these cups!) - Each lid fits well. (the ones with no hold are good for shaken espressos) -Glass (always a plus) - Fits in cup holder! (unless you have a small German vehicle like my friend's Porsche) - Straws are big and thick, which works well for smoothies or boba -Smaller glass straws from other companies also fit well. Cons: - The glass normally condensates whenever you have cold beverages, so keep that in mind - Ice normally melts within an hour - When the drink is empty, the glass straw and the glass bottle can clank around, and if you're not careful, the straw may break. (Just quality wash out and add a paper towel to prevent this from happening!) Read more

Love these cups! I use them everyday between iced coffee, water, sweet tea, etc. These cups are just perfect. My only complaint on them is the plastic lids do sometimes pop off even when I think they are on tight. It has never caused an issue or spill but it is a good thing to keep in mind that they don't tightly secure. They are very easy to clean and I love that a straw cleaner came with the cup set. If and when these need to be replaced, I will be repurchasing! Read more

The cup was great and worked well, however my main problem with this product was the size of the straw. The straw was good for smoothies however if you plan on using these for boba tea, I advise being prepared to purchase a separate order of boba straws that are wide as with these you will have to put in a lot of work for the boba pearls to actually come up the straw, and often if the boba pearl is too big it just won't come up the straw. So, works great for smoothies but be cautious if your intent is to use them for drinking boba. Read more
