The best kinesiology tape there is.

The best kinesiology tape for wrapping nerve and muscle pain and injuries. It sticks perfectly, stretch it for more compression or just lay it down for less. Lasts for days. It really helps on extremities and the back with its four way stretch support. I love how it looks and feels also. Read more

Works well

Great for taping feet for plantar fasciitis especially because it is so thin and leaves no perceptible ridge when walking on the tape. Stays on for days and doesn’t slide or peel off until you’re ready to take it off usually. It is more durable than kinesiology tapes. It seems less breathable than kinesiology tape which could be a problem for those who perspire a lot but it is waterproof. Read more

Fashionable Physiotape

I may be getting older, arthritic knee and all, but I still like to think I'm "cool." This kinesiology tape works just as well as the non-fashionable kind that looks like it came out of a first aid kit, but ups your game. My knee feels a lot better if I give it a bit of support and the "sleeves" were getting to be a bit much. This physiotape is perfect. Applied correctly it'll stay on for a few days, just pat dry after showering. YouTube is great for finding the specific ways to apply for whatever is hurting. Highly recommend and will buy again. Great supportive tape that can substitute for other braces

This is great supportive tape for people who need some extra support but don't want to use a constrictive brace. My physical therapist recommended it for supporting my knee rather than using a knee brace and it has worked really well. If you heat up the tape before applying it by rubbing it between your hands, it will stick better. As someone else mentioned, round the corners of the tape so it sticks better and doesn't rub up. Make sure that you pull the tape taut (i.e., stretched out) when applying it to your skin. To remove the tape, make sure your skin is 110% dry. Do not try to remove the tape immediately after a workout when your skin is still moist or sweaty - you will wind up taking off a top layer of skin with it and that hurts! I'm not yet sure of the difference between "original," "powerband," "eco," and the red bull version, but eager to find out how they might be used for different issues! Read more

Using this for FTM binding

I am gender queer and I use this to bind my chest. So far this is the best tape I have tried. I’ve used different types of KT tape and store brand tapes as well. This one stays on, is very comfortable, feels great, and doesn’t hurt my skin. Other brands peeled my skin off when I tried to remove it even with oil. Dynamic tape works very well and I would recommend it for FTM binding. Thanks!! So happy! Read more

Great support and it's also esthetically appealing too

Also, this tape sheds water instead of soaking it up, so I don't have to re-wrap my ankles every time I take a shower, which saves time and money compared to the cheaper brands. It has just the right amount of stretch to be comfortable while still providing good support. And the design looks awesome! Read more

Good feel and stretch, poor longevity

I apply K tape professionally a few times a week, and I'm always looking for new options to try to suit different needs. Sometimes I'll choose different tape for different purposes, like injury rehab, athletic performance, improving postural proprioception, and so on. The tape has a very nice feel; it is very soft to the touch and is thicker than a lot of tapes. It stretches and lays down very well, and it's easy to cut with appropriate shears. It does a good job of lifting tissue to increase the interstitial space where it is applied BUT, the tape does not stay on through any kind of moisture or movement. I used it to stabilize the patellar region of someone's leg prior to a hike, and the tape had come off in less than three miles. The leg was clean shaven and not sweaty. Not only did the tape come off, but it didn't even feel tacky. I used it on another person to help improve postural awareness along the splenii and down the ESG, and that person sweated it off in a couple hours just working at a desk. A quality tape should adhere to the body for 24 hours, minimum. I wouldn't recommend this tape to any practitioners who use K tape for its intended purpose, and this is the strongest adhesive this company offers. The only thing I could imagine this tape working for, is to increase the interstitial space over an area that is immobilized, on a subject who has extremely friable skin and thusly can't tolerate adhesives, although there are better methods than taping to do that. I also think it's really ugly, if you care about that sort of thing. Back to Rocktape... Read more
