Works as advertises. I got a leak on my tubeless tire spewing sealant, the sealant closed the leak long enough to get me home. When I went to pump up the tire it started to leak again. This is when I installed the plug👍 I have ridden over 80 miles with the plug installed. Guys this plug really works. Dont leave home without this plug kit Read more
I have carried Stan's darts for my mountain bike and regular bacon strips for my road/gravel bike for a while. I haven't had great luck with either and recently the Stan's dart failed miserably so I went looking for something better. I found these and could not be happier. They're a little on the pricier side but the design and usability is way easier than other methods. On the 2nd ride with these I hit something while riding my gravel bike on the road. I was running Specialized Pathfinder Pro tires, 42mm, 55psi for road riding. The cut was right at the crown of the tire (smooth part of the tread) and sealant was spraying out. Rolling the tire to put the cut at the bottom didn't help - it just left a puddle of sealant on the road. I pulled out the Dynaplug and was able to insert a small sized plug into the hole with very little difficulty and it sealed up completely. I have been riding with the plug in since then and have put 250+ miles on the tire since it was plugged and have had 0 issues - no air loss, nothing. The one thing you need to watch out for is that the part of the brass head that fits into the barrel is really short. You need to push on it 100% perpendicular to the tire (straight in) or the brass piece will come unseated and flop around making insertion difficult/impossible. I stabilized it with my finger in order to be able to apply the necessary pressure to insert it into my tire. JUst watch out for that and you'll be back on the road or trail in no time. Read more
Great product that works extremely well. I've used their competitor's products and this works substantially better. Read more
This product is what makes having a tubeless tire set up worth it. Patches bigger holes like nothing ever happened. Read more
Way too expensive for what u get. The additional plugs are insanely over priced. Read more
I got a puncture mountain biking in Utah and fixed it trail side with the standard bacon strip. It held and got me down the mountain. I added a little more sealant when I got back from the ride and all looked good. I went back out the next day and the bacon strip popped out mid-ride. I tried to re-plug with a larger size but it didn’t fit. I popped a new regular size one in and made it back down. I ordered a new tire, but found these on Amazon with great reviews so I gave them a go. Instead of replacing the tire, I pulled the bacon strip out and popped one of these in. So far so good. Big 3.5 hr ride today (big climbs, fast rocky rooty descents) in Park City with no problems. Read more
The other tire plugs have one tool to drive a roughing tool in and out a few timed, then push in the plug strands then remove the tool with just some strands left in the puncture. There is nothing though to hold the strands in place. However, with this system it is all done with an in and out stroke. The brass "bullet" penetrates and then retains the bullet and plug strand. Quick, easy and reliable. I have been using them since 2018. This is a reorder. I have been cycling 40 years. Read more
