Conforming gauze is crucial in wound care! Very helpful!! Read more
My dog has an inoperable tumor that pokes through her skin. It's "okay" as long as I wash it every day, and she is not bothered by it. But, she tends to lick it, causing it to bleed and expose it more. So, after washing and drying the area, I wrap one of these around her waist just tight enough to stay on (i.e., not loose enough that she can pull it off with her teeth or paws or as she moves around, and not tight enough that it constricts her or restricts her movement). Although it can "stick" to itself (it isn't velcro and it doesn't have any adhesive; it's just the way the fabric is woven that causes it to "interlock" with itself), I use an elastic bandage or, sometimes, duct tape to keep it more secure (that's the dog's fault, not the tape's!). I've also had to use it on myself for a sprained ankle, when thicker medical bandages and wraps were too bulky and awkward (couldn't get my shoes over them). Since I have to change her wrap every day, this case of 96 comes in real handy, and it's a good bargain (the ones in the drug and retail stores come in packs of 12 and, correspondingly, more expensive). I use a roll a day and have used a lot of this. I sense anything touching my feet as pain, so softness is important. It is softer than the doctors gauze. Read more

These non-sterile rolls are great for first aid training classes when teaching students how to stop heavy bleeding with a pressure bandage. Combining these rolls with a 4 x 4 in gauze bandage, it is easy to practice wrapping as the stretch gauze sticks to itself allowing the student to wrap with increasing or decreasing tension and then tie any one of several types of knots over the wound to increase pressure. Good quality at an excellent price. I use these every day for wound care and you can't beat the price compared to store bought stretch gauze. Read more
