Soothing Everyday Ointment That Truly Works This jar of Dynarex Vitamins A & D Ointment has quickly become a staple in my household. The texture is smooth and easy to spread, not overly thick or sticky like some protectant creams. It creates a nice protective layer that stays in place without feeling greasy. I’ve used it primarily for dry, irritated skin patches and also as a preventive layer for chafing—both times it worked beautifully. The large 15 oz jar is generous and convenient, especially for families who go through ointment quickly. A little bit really does go a long way, so this size should last quite a while. I also appreciate that the formula is simple, with vitamins A and D as the key protectants—it feels gentle and doesn’t sting when applied. The only thing to be mindful of is that, like most ointments, it can transfer to clothing if applied too heavily. I found that using a thin layer gives the same protection without mess. Bottom line: A reliable, versatile ointment that delivers soothing protection and moisture. If you’re looking for an effective, no-nonsense skin protectant in a family-friendly size, this one is excellent. Read more

This product has saved my skin so many times - especially when used n the c re ase - the fold of skin between your bum and thigh. For wheelchair users, this is a lifesaver! This keeps your skin soft and supple thereby preventing horrible bedsores. Wonderful product - much less expensive in the run vs the tube. Works great on my grandson, too! Read more

I ordered the Dynarex A&D Ointment specifically for tattoo and micropigmentation aftercare, and it works exactly as expected. The formula is gentle, protective, and great for keeping freshly worked skin hydrated without over-irritating it. One of the best parts is the quantity: the set includes 6 boxes with 144 packets each (a total of 864 individual sachets). This is perfect for studios, technicians, or anyone who needs hygienic single-use portions for clients. The packets are easy to open and apply, and help maintain proper sanitation during procedures. For aftercare, a thin layer is enough to calm irritation, reduce dryness, and protect the area during the critical first healing days. It also works well during the tattooing/micropigmentation process to keep the skin lubricated and comfortable. Overall, this is a great value, studio-friendly product that performs well and provides more than enough supply for professional use. Read more

I have been using A & D Ointment since my kids were babies. They're now 31 and 26. I used it on them for diaper rashes, cuts and scrapes, and other little boo boos. Now I use it for myself. I just got two more tattoos last week and I always use A & D on fresh tats to keep them moisturized and from getting infected. I was out so I went to buy more and saw this tuboif Dynarex A & D ointment for a great price. Checking over the ingredients, they were essentially the same as the name brand and the price was great so I got it. It's been a week now and my tattoos have healed with no scabbing at all and only one day of extremely mild peeling. This product is thick and like Vaseline but has Vitamins A and D to help ward off infections., It's good on minor cuts and scrapes on people of all ages and can be used on the lips to hydrate them. I know people who use this on their face and hands to lock in moisture. It's also good for diaper rashes or for elder care uses. This big 15 ounce tube seemed like overkill when I bought it but the price was so good that I couldn't pass it up. I opened just a finger size hole in the protective foil seal so the product doesn't get contaminated and have used it liberally. I will be having several touch ups and one major cover up of a tattoo next week and in the coming weeks so I will certainly get a lot of use out of this big tub. A & D is the only thing I use on fresh tattoos. It's better for me than Tattoo Goo which surprised me. This brand has very little odor and is so thick that only a small amount is needed. It's versatile and affordable. My tattoos look great and I have never had an infection nor have I ever scabbed over and I have a number of tattoos which all were touched up and worked on at least once after they were healed. (I am perfectionist so I inevitably want to add to the original tattoo...) I see zero difference in quality and performance between this brand and the bigger name brand. I'm very happy with the performance and price of Dynarex A & D and will keep purchasing it. Read more

After having developed an allergy to petroleum products I searched far and wide for something to put on my lips without having adverse reactions. I don't know why, but this works. It is 66% petroleum as opposed to Vaseline, which is about 99%, so that may be why. I used it on my heels and elbows. Works wonders. Read more
