I missed playing this game and I was afraid that this game wasn't going to wor on my 10 yr old ps2 and it did! So happy that it works and now I can grind it. However, the only down side is that there isnt a japanese dub and I totally forgot but hey, it's still a good game. Read more

This is one of Playstation 2's best Dynasty Warriors game. You start out by choosing your Hero from many selections. You then conquer other lands with your Hero and Army, by either beating the main Officer or capturing a main area. The more lands you capture, the more income you get on each turn. You can use those income to upgrade each Hero's army, Weapon smith upgrades, Hero Stats upgrade, give money to your people, and many more. This game has a lot of flexibilities. The gameplay might be simple but it's fun to use your favorite Heroes to kill off like 200+ army troops. The graphics are great for a PS2 game and the music is awesome! The things I didn't like about the game is that the Heroes don't have enough moves and special moves, the A.I. of your army just stands there most of the time waiting to be killed, and the voice acting is horrible. They should've put in an option for the original Japanese voice-overs and english subtitles. Overall, this game is fun game and I enjoyed my time with it. The button mashing, the number of Hereos you can use, and the RPG like gameplay. I think it's a great fun game. Sit back and just enjoy the game. Read more
Most well rounded Empires. And here's why - when it came out, and even now, the price point is cheap for a quality game. Honestly the improvements are only going to see minor bumps in graphics (until you move to PS3), and content. Recommend this one highly. Read more
