I'm not a lipstick person, or even chapstick, but I bought this as a gift, and decided to keep it instead. I was curious. The application is smooth. It has the feeling of a chapstick. I love the tinted transparency of it! I bought shade Estatic and I absolutely love the color! I want to buy different shades now! The lighter shade in the pictures is one coat, waited a bit then added a second coat which darkened it.
