HUGE fan of ELF brushes for the price and this one does not disappoint. It is soft, has great durability and blendability (not losing brush bristles like I would with some other cheaper brushes) and overall it seems to work really well, blend and provide a good coverage for stick or liquid foundation application. Another great ELF brush at a great price and is a dupe for so many of the brand name brushes I have bought over the years! Read more

Soft on my face, not rough like some other brushes out there. Works well, seems to be a good quality brush and is a perfect size for applying powder. Read more

I bought this brush waaaaaaaaayyyyy before I became obsessed with e.l.f. to apply my setting powder when I first started using makeup. I loved how cheap this brush is, and I would *probably* buy it again in the future, however, I may not if I find a better brush. The most noticeable thing about this brush is it's appearance. Now, e.l.f. is usually not too bad in the visual department (meaning they're products usually don't look too bad), but this brush looked terrible. The moment I pulled it out of the packaging I was surprised at the design. It's hard to explain, but the part where the silver and the white part touch looked like a kindergartner glued them together. The white handle was scratched and it's obvious that both the white paint and the wood underneath are very low quality. I'm actually embarrassed to pull this brush out of my makeup case to reapply powder throughout the day because of how terrible it looks. The second thing is that the bristles fall out like CRAZY. I actually bought "Susenstone®20 pcs/set Makeup Brush Set" from another seller on amazon for about 7 dollars including shipping (the price will change over time so don't expect it to be exactly the same now). 20 brushes for $7 mean that each brush cost me 35 cents. I have used those brushes for about 2 months now and not a single bristle has fallen out on any of them. I use this brush much less than those cheaper ones and these bristles are more clingy than an ex and stick to your face. I would have thrown this brush away, but that set of 20 brushes didn't come with a brush as floofy/puffy as this e.l.f. one. This brush also doesn't pick up enough product if you're using a pressed powder. When I started using this brush, I was using a loose powder, so it picked up wayyyy too much product every single time and I would have to tap the brush on the container to get the excess powder off. When I switched to a pressed powder, I realized that I can hardly pick up any powder on the brush at all. I'd have to keep swirling it in the powder just to use it, and my powder would instead go everywhere else. I could see powder falling around me instead of sticking on the brush. I used up a $24 pressed powder in 2.5 weeks because this brush was being so wasteful by pushing all the powder out of the compact without grabbing it. For these 3 reasons, I give this brush only 3 stars. I don't hate it so badly that I would tell everyone not to buy it, but I don't think it's the right one for me. Read more
