If you're like me who's wondering what's the difference between the $15 and $25 Magsafe selfie sticks, this review is for you! To keep things short, here are the main differences for the $25 version: - It's heavier, so there's less wobble when fully extended - retracting arm is made of aluminum instead of thin steel which felt stiffer - pivot point on the top is very stuff, so at an angle it won't tip over due to the weight of your phone. On the cheap version the pivot has a thumb screw to tighten, which loosens over time and gets annoying fast - tripod legs have legs that spread out slightly with the push of a button. good design for those who aren't mechanically inclined. Both versions have strong magnets, and offer rechargeable bluetooth shutter buttons. Honestly both sticks do their job, but the more expensive one is more sturdy and you can see the quality from how the plastics are molded. I ended up spending an extra $10 to keep my $1200 phone a little safer when in tripod mode. My main worry with this tripod is how easy it is to tip over, especially when the pivot can give up and slap itself down from up-right to sideways, potentially dropping your phone form 5 feet away. It WORKS as long as you're careful with it. But if all you plan to do is to use this as a selfie stick, note that these tall tripod sticks are very large in size and you're better off getting a shorter selfie stick which would be much easier to carry. I bought it to use as a tripod. It holds my phone with an otterbox case on good. It’s a little shaky but works good for what I use it for. It’s very lightweight and portable Read more
This tripod has been an awesome addition to my setup — it works exactly as described and makes recording or taking photos so much easier. What I love: Strong magnetic hold – The MagSafe connection is solid and reliable. My iPhone locks right into place and stays secure, even when the tripod is extended. No wobbling or slipping. Great height and adjustability – Extending up to 67 inches, it’s tall enough for standing shots, overhead angles, or full-body videos. It adjusts smoothly and stays steady at any height. Remote control included – The Bluetooth remote pairs quickly and works perfectly for starting or stopping video, or snapping photos from a distance. It’s a small touch that makes a big difference when filming alone. Compact and portable – Despite the full extension, it folds down easily and doesn’t take up much space. It’s lightweight enough to carry around for travel or outdoor use. Build quality – The tripod feels well-made and balanced. The legs are sturdy and don’t feel flimsy, even when fully extended. Overall: This tripod is exactly what I needed — strong, easy to use, and reliable for both photos and videos. Whether for content creation, video calls, or just casual use, the E-Tree Magnetic Tripod performs perfectly. Five stars without hesitation! Read more
I love this selfie stick tripod. The MagSafe compatibility is amazing and keeps my phone secure no matter how I use it. The 67-inch reach with the Bluetooth remote makes it so easy to take group photos, solo shots, or even vlog without struggling to get the right angle. I also really like that it converts between a selfie stick, tripod, and desktop stand so smoothly. The 360-degree rotatable head is great for trying out different angles, and even when it’s fully extended, it stays surprisingly steady. It’s lightweight and folds down small, so it’s perfect for travel. The carrying case is a thoughtful touch and makes it easy to take anywhere. Overall, it’s practical and, sturdy. Read more
This is a solid tripod. It's very compact and collapses down into a very portable size. Easy to stuff in a suitcase or weekend bag and bring with you on your adventures. The magnet works very well once I remove my case. (I'm sure there are cases made that maintain better magnetism capabilities). The magnet feature was exactly what I was looking for, because I find the standard clip in version more limiting. Sleek and maneuverable at a great price. The only downside is, Its not very heavy weight at the base, so I'd say it's better suited for indoor use. Read more
