This clothing rack is well built and works nicely for smaller spaces. The metal frame feels sturdy and stable once assembled, and the leveling feet help keep it from wobbling on uneven floors. It’s a clean, simple design that fits well in a bedroom or apartment where you need some extra hanging space. The only downside is that for the amount of floor space it takes up, it doesn’t actually hold as much clothing as I expected. It works fine for a handful of items, but if you’re trying to hang a lot of clothes you’ll fill it up pretty quickly. That said, the build quality is good and it does what it’s supposed to do. If this thing came with casters instead of fixed feet it would easily be a five-star product. Being able to roll it around would make it way more convenient. We moved my son downstairs into a bigger room but there isn’t a closet down there. I was getting ready to build something out when my wife suggested just trying a rack like this first. Turns out that was a pretty good call. The rack is really sturdy and doesn’t wobble around like some of the cheaper ones I’ve seen. It actually looks pretty good sitting in the corner of his room and holds a lot more clothes than I expected. For a simple solution it ended up being a really solid buy. also assembly was very easy. Overall, this clothing rack does exactly what I needed it to do. There were a few minor misalignment issues during assembly, so it took a little adjusting to get everything lined up properly. Nothing impossible, just a bit of patience, and maybe a little drilling, required. Once fully put together, though, it’s sturdy and holds a good amount of weight without wobbling. It's slightly shorter than me but tall enough to hang my clothes up and not have them dragging. I especially love the bottom shelf. It keeps shoes off the floor and makes the whole setup look more organized. I actually had more shoes than expected, so I added a tote on the bottom shelf to hold extras, and it works perfectly. The tote is a decent size too so it can hold a good amount. I do wish it came in more color options, but the black finish is neutral and matches most décor. Solid, practical piece once assembled. Don't get me wrong, this is a very nice clothing rack. While not as sturdy as I'd hoped it would be, I think it should be just fine for what I have in mind. I'll be using it to display mostly T-Shirts and light-weight garments in a small retail outlet, and I don't anticipate myself overloading it. It's not too big that it becomes unmanageable. Just large enough for maybe 30 hangers with garments. You can go beyond the uprights a little for extra space, and there is an integrated shelf of sorts at the bottom to store overstock. When the box arrived, I almost didn't believe it was a clothing rack given the weight...seemed way too light, but I guess looks can be deceiving. While not a commercial quality rack, and not super strong, it is sturdier than you would think...just not as sturdy as I'd hoped. It does go together very quickly, but I suggest using a drill or driver with the proper allen-key bit...much faster. Read more

First impressions: the box was far smaller and lighter than I expected. The steel tubes that make up the rack are a thinner diameter than the images seem to show, at least based on scale. Assembly: Fairly easy, with around half of the connections being spring-loaded thumb pins and the rest fastened with screws using the included Allen wrench. The feet are screw-in and adjustable which is a nice feature for leveling. Issues: I had a few misaligned screw holes. Another review mentioned this problem as well, so it seems like quality control is consistently lacking. I was able to force the pipes together enough to start the screw threads, though some people may not be so lucky. Another minor issue is that the screws have excessive protection oil on them, leaving my hands filthy as shown in the picture. Quality & Value: This is a decently sturdy rack; aside from the aforementioned assembly issues. The hanger tube and shelf can hold a lot of weight without bending, making it ideal for heavy coats and boots. The overall value is dependent on current cost.
