Barefoot boots are hard to find. Waterproof barefoot boots even rarer. I didn't want to spend Xero or Vivo $$$ so this seemed to be a good choice. I would say sizing is as expected. These fit like a wide though and when tightened, they are still loose and the material kind of bunches a bit because they are much larger than my foot. They probably will accommodate a thick pair of socks. Very comfy and the soles are flexible. I do feel like they are bulky for a barefoot shoe/boot--maybe due to the wide size. They include some care instructions: no heat, no Sun, no solvents, towels stuffed in there to keep their shape when drying. Update: star added. As I wear these boots, I gain more appreciation for them. They are great winter boots--very comfy, flexible sole, can wear with socks or barefoot. Gotta say after using in snow and rain with freezing temps these are amazing. Feet stay extra warm (which isn’t great for inside) but they are comfortable and wide as a zero lift bare shoe goes. I use them at work on my feet 90%of the time no foot pain and no insoles needed as of yet. Look pretty good too. As the very limited option for barefoot water proof boots available this is a solid 5 star option. I’m usually a 10.5 in shoes 10/11 in boots depending on brand but knew from barefoot sneaker experience to order up a size or two and fit great. I think I got the 12 men’s. Read more

This item fits great. If you have any foot issues this is the boot for you. The wide toe area lets your foot spread out and be comfortable. The color is great and goes well with jeans or dress pants. The fluff inside adds warmth so your feet aren’t cold. I give this boot a 5 star! I would definitely buy them again! Read more

I took away one star because the sizing chart is not great. I had to guess a bit, ordered a size up from my usual, thinking that the fluffy lining and heavier socks would take up extra space…and also because some reviews said the sizes ran small. The bigger boots arrived, and were way too big…I returned them and ordered my usual size, which arrived last night. They fit perfectly. It’s not really winter yet, so I can’t speak to the warmth, level of waterproof, or whether the soles are non slip. I will edit to add that info in a month or two. I have a wide foot, and these boots fit very comfortably. I expect the lining will compress as they are worn, and that will allow for thicker socks if needed. For now, I have thin wool socks that I am sure will work just fine while the lining is still fluffy. EDIT: I have so far found these boots to be quite warm enough, and also waterproof. This past weekend, I attended an outdoor event, which had me standing around on frozen ground for three hours, and my feet did not get cold. The fluffy lining did compress adequately to allow me to wear medium thick wool socks without making the boots uncomfortably tight. Last night, we had our first real snowfall of the season, about 8 inches. I wore regular socks while shoveling my driveway, and the boots kept my feet perfectly warm. I have also been walking my dogs while wearing these boots, and they are comfortable to walk in. We did have a couple of inches of snow over Thanksgiving, and the boots have been solid, underfoot, not slippery at all. Of course, nothing except spikes on your boots will keep you from slipping on ice, but I have been very happy with how these boots perform on both loose and packed snow. My only real complaint is that the boot dips down too far in the back...the elastic cuff of snow pants pulls up so that snow goes down into the boot. Read more

These boots are warm and comfortable. They are a bit sloppy in how the fit and walking in the correct bare foot fashion is a difficult. My heals are constantly sore from how they fit. They are nice and grippy on the front half of the boot, but very slippery on the heal. I wear these boots 5 days a week as a work shoe. I purchased them because they were the only ones with a smooth non fabric exterior. I needed something that was easily clean able with just a wet cloth. I am in the food service industry and that along with good grip on slippery surfaces are a must have. I will be ordering a different type/brand on my next purchase due to their fit and the limited grip if the heal. As an update to these boots. The loos fit is probably by design of the wide foot. The rubber souls have barely shown any wear. These boots have taken a good beating and still stand up. I walk a lot each day at work, which is where they serve me mostly. I'm averaging 5 to 6 thousand steps just at work. Unlike other boots, I don't have to take these ones off as soon as I get home. I can keep wearing them all day, if needed without suffering any type of foot, angel, or leg pains. I'd like to see these boots in a few more design choices, especially with the smooth & easy to clean design as these boots have. Read more
