Game changer. I’ve been using soft foam earplugs for years when I run my hairdryer, and they help mitigate noise - when they stay in. These new earplugs stay in with no need to re-set them. There are several size options for a good fit. It turns out, my ear left canal takes on size smaller than the right ear (who new!). Now the plugs fit properly and sound is really diminished, way beyond the foam earplugs. Read more
These are possibly the most comfortable earplugs I've every worn and that point alone is has saved them from a 3 star review. If the description were accurate and not over promising they could be a 5. I tested these first on a recent flight and they were fantastic. They had plenty of noise reduction to make that experience more pleasant, and as I said above, super comfortable. When I went to write this review, I double checked all the promises in the listing and they are lofty, so after reading those and couple other reviews, I opted to do a little more controlled of a test. I blasted some music in my headphones and put both these and my acoustic earplugs that I use for concerts (Hearprotek brand in case anyone cares, also from Amazon). My other ear plugs boast 20 dB reduction. Who knows if that's accurate, but they are comparable to these which claim 45. After briefly listening to my headphone at full blast without protection, I'm inclined to guess 20 dB is much closer to true for both of them. I did also try switching ear tips, trying bigger ones to see if I'd get a better seal. It actually was worse, so just keep that in mind, the most comfortable one is the correct one. So based on their claims here are my recommendations For Sleep - Fantastic, no pressure even as a side sleeper. probably not going to help with a heavy snorer, but definitely will solve a light to medium snorer. For Concerts - Not a bad choice, but there are better options for 1/2 to 1/4 the price. These kill mid frequencies more than the acoustics, but less than foam, and they also seem to accentuate some base frequencies (I've never really noticed that thunder rumble in Evanescenses Bring Me to Life before, but it was at a reverberant frequency for these ear plugs) For Shooting Ranges - There is no way these are good enough for that activity. Didn't test, and you wouldn't be able to pay me to. For Travel - Again fanstatic. Comfortable and plenty for the ambient noise on an airplane. The case is also perfect. Small enough to fit comfortably in a pocket, but large enough not to easily lose. About the same size as a contact lenses case. Probably my ideal usage case for these would a loud exercise class like spinning. I wish I had these while I had my Cyclebar membership. Read more

Ordered these for my wife - here is her review of the item. These are so great! They definitely help to reduce noise. I have not personally used them for sleep but I have used them at loud events and they are a much more comfortable alternative to the squishy little orange ear plugs. I recently used these at a monster truck event and at first, I was not quite sure how much noise it was cancelling - then I removed one ear bud and was amazed! It really was working well! I kept the medium sized buds on that come standard with this kit and they fit great. They were very comfortable as well. Great item at a great cost! Read more
These absolutely are not noise canceling for me. Maybe muffling? I’ve worn those soft orange earplugs in my ears to sleep for the last 25 years. Especially the second I get on a plane…even if there are no kids. I can’t sleep without them! They are comfortable and small with extra silicone covers and a nice sleek box that could easily slide into a pocket or purse. Maybe it truly is just my ears and not the plugs. My ears are very small. I have difficulty getting the small squishy orange ones in also. I’m sure there’s a solution…injustice don’t know it yet. Read more
Well made with 4 different size sets of ear nibs. Blocks out a lot of sound and very comfortable, great for sleeping or doubling up with headphones due to the low profile. The case snaps shut and it's very secure. Holds the plug and two extra sizes snugly. Read more
I got these to use for loud events. There have been some banquets that my family has attended where we get positioned right next to very large speakers, and the host of the celebration excitedly shouts in a very loud voice that hurts our eardrums. Also, once music is played for dancing, it gets very loud as well. While my wife and I can bare it because our hearing isn't the greatest, I wanted to get something for my son to avoid damaging his hearing and these are perfect. Lightweight, and comes in a convenient travel case. You don't notice it too much, and it provides a decent amount of noise suppression to reduce the loudness. Read more
Soft and comfortable and lots of tips included making it a good value. Always nice to have a case to transport them and they insert smoothly and with ease. They do let in sound, perhaps more than wanted. I would use these in more relaxed noisy environments but not to protect the ears in intense situations, when I would rely on much more than these.
