The ear plugs fit snuggly in the case. They don't rattle around so there's less risk of dropping them when you open the case. NOTES: for loud harsh growling snoring, the plugs reduce it to a whisper. For high pitch whinny snoring, you still hear these types, but it is somewhat reduced. For small ear canals, you should be able to find a size that fits comfortably. I have been using this product for over six months now. My husband snores. And I am an extremely light sleeper. Very good noise reducing EarPlugs. They are listed as "Noise Cancelling" but that is false. They are very good reducing noise and are super comfortable for long hours of wear. GOOGLE this fact, "Noise Cancelling" require electronic to counteract frequencies to cancel noise. These have no electronics. Buy these for my hubby who had a stroke and has difficulty in loud situations or where lots of people are talking at the same time. These help alot. Bought 3 pairs cause they were on sale and he uses them on the daily.
