I've gotten all my family members hooked on this. I've always had sensitive ears that I couldn't clean or get water in so I had a ton of buildup over my lifetime which is 30 years btw. My Dr told me I needed to find something to clear my ears out or I could lose my hearing. I found this and it has worked so well for me. I got my ears cleaned and felt so much better. The camera is insanely amazing and you can see everything!! It didn't hurt my ears at all but did take a little trial and error to figure out how to do it. I recommend to everyone! The pimple popper tool is also amazing for blackheads which I used for my nose and worked so well! Read more
After lots of researching to find a good ear cleaner with a camera for myself & my family, I decided on this one. I'm pretty familiar with these types of ear cleaners, because I've used one the past couple years. The thing is though, I've already went through 2 different ones from other brands. These should be able to last longer then a year at least. So I started searching for a better one! I came upon this one & read everything about it, & also the reviews. After all that I saw that there was even a little discount on it too! I decided to try my luck with this brand. I received it the same day & opened it up immediately to try it because it had been a while since I was able to clean my ears. (I refuse to use q-tips.) The camera on this is literally so CLEAR & vibrant. Exactly what I was looking for. I even checked to see if you could watch TV through it & it actually not be blurry on the screen, well guess what? You can! Literally I was shocked. Lol Not only that, but the APP was easy to navigate also. I should've took a picture to show how much wax this tool managed to get out of my ear! TMI but idc because they feel sooo much better. So if you suffer with ear wax building up quickly, or just want to be able to look inside your own ear, or your children's, this is the brand & tool to go with! Happy with my purchase! Thank you 😊 Read more
Love this little ear camera. Amazed at what I was able to see. Got new hearing aid and audiologist said she could not get proper fit because of wax build up, which I have always had problems with. Went to MD, my Doctor, and with cleaning using water, peroxide squirt and lighted pic tool he has, which hurts (would be good torture method, maybe thats used some where) was able to clean most but had to get antibiotic drops for infection. Much comparision on Amazon and finilly decided on X-Life. Very happy, connects pretty fast and now I can see whats is going on myself and see the infection has cleared and wax able to be scooped out. Should of found this long ago but no doctor told me about them except for the nurse at his office. TG for nurses. Read more
I love this tool. I use it to clean out my kids ears and take a peek inside for an ear infection. Great little camera that links to your phone. However, I’ve had mine for 7 months (used randomly) and now it only lasts minutes before dying. I have no clue how charged it is until it gives a warning and turns off. I’ll charge until I think it’s charged all the way (sometimes hours) and it’ll die again. Not sure if this is common, but it ran a good fight for the 7 months I had it. Read more
Clean ears. I don't know if people spend much time contemplating such a topic. I suspect unless you've had a history of issues with your ears you probably don't. I compose and play music, and so I pay a bit more attention than most. Given that predilection, this is the coolest thing I've owned in a while. First off, the camera. It's quality is better, and it's probe much smaller, than regular endoscopes you commonly find on Amazon. The picture quality isn't pristine, but it's also better than your average inexpensive endoscope. I suspect this is because it's purpose is so narrowly and well defined. It doesn't need to focus from up close to infinity, it just has about an inch's worth of usable focus area. I think that simplicity allows the manufacturer to more finely tune this relatively inexpensive probe. And it is a small probe. My ear canals are on the small side and this probe fits in my ear canal with no problem. This also came with a set of ear cleaning tools. I didn't even know ear cleaning tools existed (other than cotton swabs). They do, and this hygiene tool came with a bunch. There are cleaning tools to be used independently from the probe, and there are tips that fit on the probe itself. All in all, it's a good collection of useful ear hygiene tools and well worth the money. I'm glad I got over my feeling that this thing was too geeky to buy, because I like it a lot. Read more
Damaged eardrum. Even though I was being very careful in trying to remove impacted earwax, I damaged my eardrum in the process drew a little blood which has since healed. So I am reluctant to use it anymore. The picture is fine but the extractor tips do not get a hold of the earwax easily enough. Be careful you do notPut too much pressure on the eardrum in trying to remove the wax, because I found out eardrums damaged very easily. Use this product at your own peril and be very cautious. Had for awhile now, and it should be in every med kit in my opinion. Read more
It worked pretty well for a while, but it is just over a year old now, and will only stay connected for about 20 seconds at a time. Read more
