These snow boots are warm and quite comfortable. I got a size 10, which is a size larger than my normal of size 9. I read the reviews before ordering and some had mentioned they were a bit small on the sizing. It worked very well for me as the 10 is nice and roomy for my wide feet and I will have enough room for my super thick wool socks when the temps are bitter cold. The boots actually look better in person than the photos on the product page show them. When I first took them out of the packaging, they did have a rank plasticized odor to them. Quite strong. Within minutes I could tell it was dissipating, so that was good! They look well made, mostly. I did see that inside one of the boots it looks like there is a fold in the lining that runs all the way down the back of the boot. There is a picture included of that in the ones I uploaded here for the review. I tried to pull it to smooth it out, but it seems attached somewhere near the bottom. I do not think it will cause a problem for me though as I wore them for taking photos and actually never felt anything amiss with them. I just noticed it when I was taking the photos of them without my feet in them, lol. That was the only reason for my 4 star rating. If not for that, I would have given them all 5 stars. I really like the adjustable drawstring at the top of the boot for sealing off the cold air and snow when it gets deep. The other good thing about these is that they are waterproof. I hate wet feet and wet boots, lol! I live in the country where there is usually snow in the winter so good snow boots are a must have for me. Oh, and the rubber sole of this pair of boots is outstanding for anti-slip and thick tread. It also helps with the nicely cushioned comfort while wearing them. These boots sort of remind me of the old moon boots from in the 80's only shorter. I had some of those and loved them, so hopefully I will love this pair just as much! I'm recommending these snow boots. As I said, I did size up a whole size to a 10 because I wanted to be sure of the fit and also for my thick wool socks I wear in boots for winter weather, so it might be a good idea for doing that. I was torn when ordering these boots as I loved the Khaki color / look, but where I live, as soon as it starts getting messy for winter, they would be ruined for looks.
