This was perfect for my earrings and rings! It's light weight and small enough that it doesn't take up a lot of room, but looks very nice on my desk. Very small. Might work for little jewelry but not for most of mine. Maybe great for a child's jewelry. Quality seems fine and you can make adjustment by taking the big bar that runs side to side off but then you can see where it was becasuse it's no longer black velvet in the missing spaces. Perfect for organizing a collection of piercing-jewelry and tools. I can just take the whole box to the bathroom when I need to change my piercings. All of my tools and jewelry are in one place. No more hunting through dozens of little bags, inside of bags, inside of bags. No more guessing or re-measuring unlabeled jewelry. No more scratched jewelry from being smashed together and moved around while looking for a specific piece. No more re-washing my hands because I had to dig through more bags to find a different tool. I stuck black labels on the velvet, and used a white acrylic marker to label each slot. On some I used 2 labels, one on the side and one at the top, because the jewelry has 2 measurements, thickness and length (Example: 18g, 1/4"). (There are other measurements too so you could use 3 or even 4 labels on each slot if needed. You could even stick a 5th label on the bottom if desired.) I also cut the slot-dividers up to make larger slots for some tools. The drawers are easily removed from box, but they are not so slippery that I worry about them flying out and spilling everywhere, or sliding open when tilted. (Though, I'd tape them closed for car-travel, and wouldn't even try to take the box on a plane-trip, or pack it in a suitcase.) The cardboard slot-dividers break apart easily without scissors. Care needs to be taken when sticking labels to them, using your thumb to support the back, because they will break when poked. I'm not worried about them breaking during daily use though. They won't fall apart unless bent or pressed deliberately. The plastic that the box is made of is quite thick and hard. It shouldn't break unless dropped on a very hard surface. It's surprisingly pretty when all the jewelry sparkles through the clear top. I didn't expect that, and didn't plan on displaying the box out in the open. You can though because it's cute. Perfect for the bedroom. I also like that I can see the jewelry in the top drawer without opening it, to find things faster. The plastic does seem like it will scratch quite easily though so I would expect its appearance to weather over time, and plan on keeping it in a drawer later. Placing jewelry on to top will likely scratch it up. It will show fingerprints and dust quickly. The lighter colored options might not be as obvious as the black one one though. The velvet can't be washed either so I think it will be difficult to clean over time. I'd plan on replacing this box after a few years if appearance is a concern. Read more

I got this as a gift to for my aunt who collects earrings and loves pink. The organizer itself was great. Color is just as pictured. My only concern, and it really isn't a concern, I just thought it was odd. The package was delivered to my door and there was absolutely no indication that it was from Amazon. Plain brown box with clear tape. The shipping label just had some company name and a return address in Detroit, MI. If I hadn't gotten an e-mail from Amazon saying it was delivered, I probably would not have opened it. There was also a half dollar sized puncture in the side of the box (didn't damage the item though). Read more
