We like to use products that are labeled "baby" for our kiddos because they tend to be mild and free of yucky chemicals. This Earth Baby Bath Essential Kit comes with everything you need for bath time - from shampooing to lotioning. All four products have the same scent which I like. I wouldn't necessarily smell it and think it was a baby/kid scent but it is nice smelling. For the first product, it says shampoo + body wash but the instructions on the bottle only specify using it on wet hair. It never mentions using it on their body. Then it says to rinse out and towel dry hair. It doesn't say anything like "follow with conditioner". You would think since it's a whole product line they'd reference using all their products together. The conditioner + detangler is something I really like. Why don't more companies pair these two together? Most parents know you need a detangler to avoid pulling the hair and tears. This worked well on my daughters long hair. The bubble bath+ is also another confusing product because when you read bubble bath you think of something you run in a tub of water to create bubbles. The directions say to squeeze it on a wash cloth to lather body. Isn't that what the shampoo + body wash should say? Plus, this really isn't all that bubbly. The moisturizing lotion+ is a thinner lotion that leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated. But what is the + for? Is it something besides a lotion? It just says to massage on skin after bath. I know I'm pointing out a lot of little details but parents want to know exactly what they're using on their kids bodies and how to use it properly. I will say that the enriched ingredients are so cool - chamomile, oat, Dead sea salt, honey, apple, murumuru butter, carrot, etc. Also, like how each bottle has a different color cap. My little one is becoming independent and showering herself. Without being able to read what each bottle is for, I could tell her what color does what. Read more

So fun that this set comes with a bag, makes for a nice gift! The body wash lathers up really well. Doesn’t seem to sting my son’s eyes, although not sure if it’s necessarily gotten into his eyes. The bath products smell so good, not the biggest fan of the lotion scent though. Read more

My 3yo has tried out several different shampoo and body wash brands, from big and small companies, and she loves this set. She requests the body wash for her bubble bath-- it bubbles nicely if you add it before you run the faucet. My husband didn't like using the conditioner the first few times because he's not used to the texture; he couldn't tell if it was all rinsed out and didn't like that her hair didn't feel squeaky after... but couldn't argue that it was easier to dry and brush out her hair. Since her skin has been dry with the heat running in the house, we've used the lotion on her legs and hands (haven't tried on her face). Scent is subtley honey floral IMO, and my daughter doesn't have sensitive skin. The set comes in an eco pouch, making it a lovely gift and would be great given on its own or in a care package, though I feel like this is better for a toddler.
