Other diaper creams coat the fibers of the diaper and the diaper becomes water repellent. With mama earths organic diaper balm, this does not happen. It also seems to work with diaper rash and will soothe and take my baby‘s diaper rash away in less than 24 hours. After I read the great reviews I decided to purchase this diaper balm. The previous brand that I was using was discontinued and the diaper rash cream that replaced it wasn't good (I think it actually made it worse). This product came next day and after two diaper changes I could already see it improving. It does have a smell, but more of natural/organic smell (not chemical) and it works well.
