I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Easy Spirit Chelsea boot. I had been searching for a boot I could wear with dress pants for work as the Indiana weather switches quickly from moderate to cold temperatures and dry to wet conditions. I’m so glad I found these. I typically wear a 10.5w but ordered an 11M as wide was not available. In contrast to size 11M Sam Edelman Paige suede boots, these Easy Spirits were boots were wider width in the forefoot, heel, and leg shaft. They felt comfortable and I could easily get my foot into the boot even though I have both a high instep and wider foot which means sometimes my foot can’t make the curve to even put a boot on. These boots will look good with wide leg cropped jeans and for only $79 how can I not keep them. Just wish these were the dark brown suede with squared toe and center seam like the Sam Edelman. Why can’t they make pretty boots for folks with wider feet, thicker ankles or high instep. Read more

I have wide feet, ankles, and calves so I was a bit skeptical that these would work out for me but I was pleasantly surprised when these slipped on like a glove! The leather is a softer leather so it’s a lot more flexible and forgiving than traditional leather shoes, but that also means it’s going to scuff easier. The fit is perfect so I’d recommend going with your normal size. It’s great for the price and I’d definitely buy another pair! Read more
