Never turned on. Do not recommend.

Bought this for a present for my son. We charged it for over an hour and the watch would never turn on. Allowed the watch to charge over night and still couldn't get it to turn on. Was not worth the money and now I have to find another to replace it. Read more

Don't Purchase for fitness aspect.

The heart rate monitor seems accurate, however the fitness tracker for walking and other physical activities has proven to be unreliable. My least favorite thing about this watch is that I cannot get the text messages to sync properly. This is actually the second watch I'm having that issue with. I don't understand why I can check my emails, but not my text messages. I'll Keep trying and update if necessary. Other than that, this is a very nice watch, look wise. I absolutely love the different dial faces to choose from with the option to customize your own. There are several different menu layouts, and I like having the option to choose what works best for me. It connects very easily and I haven't had any issues with disconnecting or fading out. The speaker and volume are efficient for a watch. I can have a very clear conversation, which is easily answered or dialed from the watch. THIS was the main purpose of requesting this watch, and I'm very satisfied with that aspect. Music app is great. I do wish that an app wasn't needed to set alarms and stuff like that. It's inconvenient to need that. But once you've got it set it's reliable, and the app offers other cool features. This will eventually be given to my son as a gift. He's 10 years old and very active. I am very pleased to know that I'll be able to have contact with him while he's out with friends. Riding his bike he can easily answer my calls. Being water resistant is a major plus. You don't have to remove the watch or worry when washing hands. He won't have to worry in the rain. It's quite durable so I'm not concerned about him being tough on it. Love the find your phone feature that does indeed work! He'll appreciate that as well. Overall I must say that this is a decent watch for this price range. I find it pretty common that the fitness tracker on these watches aren't accurate. Maybe it's dependent on stride and speed, maybe it's a location or connection issue. I'm not sure. All other features are standard and this is a competitively priced product. Read more

Stop working

Last one month exactly. My kid used it from 6pm to 9pm because at school smart watches are not permitted. One day screen becomes all green and doesn't turn on. Big disappointment for a 6 years old boy. Read more

Teenager approved

My kiddo has SPD, and things around his wrist tend to bother him, so wristwatches have not been popular. Lately, he's been obsessed with wanting to know how much he walks in a day, and his heartrate/BP, and was intrigued by my smartwatch. His observations: This one has a comfortable feeling band that can be worn most of the day without wanting to take it off. The fact that it's water-resistant with a drain function is also good, as frequently washing hands is something dealt with at school. Taking heart rate/BP throughout the day or on demand is neat. Since he's not using the phone features, I am rating them on what it can be programmed to do, like have limited connection to a flip phone. The message notifications(though it will beep at incoming), weather feature, find phone, voice assistant, and playlist controls do not work. Manually dialing out, top ten frequent calls for speed dial, and options to talk through the watch do work on testing, and will prompt on the flip phone(Alcatel Go Flip 4), speaker, headset, or watch speaker. On a ZTE Maven 3 smartphone, it connects to everything sporadically unless I also install GoogleFit(which combined with the smartwatch app, devours the phone battery). It went from 100% to 75% in the twenty-five minutes it took to install, and that was in powersave mode. Used paired with the flip phone including several long conversations through it, it's going on twelve days before it needs charging, so battery life is great. Alarms and things like water reminders have to be programmed through the app, but you don't need it connected past setup for basic functions, which I like, and unlike other smart apps, this one can be set up anonymous without registration. Negatives, if any, are cosmetic. You can only replace one watchface, so pick the one you like the least to replace when you set it up, and most of the watchfaces aren't the best, so whatever you pick is it until you sync to the app to replace it. I honestly am impressed with this smartwatch. It has so many good, practical features, and no frou-frou things that you don't need(except for the female monitor, which isn't needed on a advertised to boys sports smartwatch). EDIT: Watch is supposed to be water-resistant, and after accidentally taking a long shower with it on, he cannot get the drain function to work because the touchscreen isn't responding, and it's impossible to contact the vendor to learn how to either master reset it, or RMA for warranty, as their website contact links to a business location map instead of a way to email them, and the listed customer service phone number is an international long-distance call, and NOT a toll-free number. EDIT(06/17): So after contacting Customer service, I was able to get in touch with the seller, who apologised for the issues, and immediately took my comments and issues down, and sent a replacement for the broken watch. The replacement, tested with my Alcatel Go Flip IV, displays ID with favourite contacts, Weather updates sporadically if the watch is in contact with the app, which is not installed on the Go Flip IV, watching YouTube or Facebook videos has the sound coming from the watch nicely, and my phone's playlist can be controlled by the replacement watch, which did not on the original one. The Voice assistant, find phone, and message display features still do not work, but even paired with a Nokia C310 smartphone without the app installed, kiddo says most of these are less important for him, the important parts he likes and uses work, though he does wish they'd update it to include BP readings, as it's the only thing that it lacks. I have been given this product and tested it for review. All opinions are mine. Read more
