I found this fragrance when Neiman Marcus sent me one of their little catalogs and was enchanted by it. Some of my other favorite fragrances have been Jessica Mcclintock and anthing that smells like lily of the valley and lavender. This is a very hard to find product, but if you like fragrances that are true to their notes and you like any of the above-mentioned fragrances then go to Neiman Marcus and try the tester THEN buy a 55 gallon drum of it...ok, maybe not that much, but I think you will fall in love with it like I have.. I have used this fragrance. but I had the idea that the smell evaporates quickly!! The zesty notes of the true Sicilian lemon and grapefruit mingle with the refinement of the citron tree and cypress notes to give a universal fragrance, subtle and refined. Don't trust to buy product like that. It has nothing to do with the original! You can't return it either which Is unfortunate.Amazon ad big company should have a better way to protect its customers. Very dissatisfied and definitely not give as much business any more to this Amazon. Read more

If you have a pre 2009 bottle, it smells quite different from what is being sold under this name now. The Hadrien I know and love is like a blast of citrus that lasts all day if you spray a few times... this smells like some generic grasses and disappears in an instant. Read more

Unusual and very energizing. Base notes are citrus but there are more complex notes I cannot quite identify. It would be a good perfume to layer, I think with the Eau D'Sud with the latter as the daytime and the Eau D'Hadrien evening. I am sold on the Goutal fragrance complexity. Read more

Overall, I am delighted with this perfume -- it is light, crisp, citrus-y without being too-sweet. It is a perfect summer scent. My only negative comment would be that the fragrance doesn't last long. Perhaps that's the price of subtlety -- you will need to re-apply the scent throughout the day. Read more
