These Nickel Metal Hydride batteries arrived fully charged and in excellent condition. Note that NiMH batteries produce only 1.2v instead of the 1.5v you might be accustomed to seeing, but in most applications this won't matter and won't even be noticeable. If you see a difference in performance, you might need to use conventional Alkaline or carbon batteries in that device. I am a little disappointed that they come in a blister pack, whereas their AA rechargeables come in a nice plastic storage box that keeps them organized and handy to carry. In the meantime, they charge to over 1.3 volts as they should, and all indications are that they will last and perform well. Read more
