Absolutely amazing unit. I travel over the road for work. This 1000W EBL generator has completely impressed me. I will mention though, remember to unplug the 12V charge from your vehicle while parked, otherwise it will continue to charge and deplete your vehicle battery, yes from experience, lol I have a small travel refrigerator plugged into it, and it will keep that running for at least 1½ days. So the unit worked great for the year that I have had it (still do, can't return it). It worked well to power a 12V cooler (no compressor), and it ran several lamps during an emergency, and it was powerful enough to run my full fridge (never tested it in an emergency, just a static 10 minute test to see if it would do it), but then one day it stopped working, blank display, power button did nothing, even the LED wouldn't work. Charging it only made the batteries warm and the meter said 0% 0watts input the ENTIRE time. I took it apart, and it turns out the inverter somehow became a dead short to the battery (the BMS inside thankfully was cutting it off instead it letting it go up in smoke, or worse). Once I removed the inverter module, it started working again, but now I only have the USB and DC 12V circuits available, even the QI charger on top stopped working (maybe a wire came lose during the disassembly). The unit looks competently built inside, nice and modular, but the components themselves I guess aren't up to snuff. I didn't even run it that hard! Not worth it even with the DEEP discount I got via an Amazon coupon. The smaller 300W unit I have from EBL is still working ok, including the AC side, but now I don't necessarily trust it. On the plus side, my buddy borrowed the 1000W unit to run a compressor 12V mini-fridge during a road trip and over several days it only dropped about 25% battery life, so for that it works great (this was after the AC unit went up, so he only needed and used the 12V power socket the whole time). The battery inside is 24V, not sure what capabilities the BMS has, but I'll leave it assembled for now. At least I can store the charging brick in the top of the unit where the inverter used to be, so I got that going for me, which is nice... Read more
