I liked the look of the Rockport better (a less pointed toe) and the fit was a bit more conformed and thus full-comfort. The Rockport was about half the price. Been wearing these shoes for 12 years, keep buying them again. Good grip, they form well to my feet after two months and I walk 8000 steps a day. Waterproof to a T. Only downside is that I find the waxed laces tend to come undone, so I switch to other laces to avoid having to do a double knot. Doesn't lose color much, easily blacked up again with some polish and resistant to Knicks. I wear them with casual closes well and they have a real wide square toe so my toesies don't knot up and feel squish. As a result my foot is not deformed after 15 years and this prevents foot pain.
