If I could give this product but stars, I would. My husband bought me this for Christmas because aftergoing through gallons of Hypochlorous acid for our humidifier, deodorizing, cleaning counters, and disinfecting objects and hands, I truly wanted to make my own. It's one of my favorite gifts! It's very easy to use. Add 1 L of tap water, 2 mg of salt (I use a food scale to measure because their scooper is inaccurate), 1 tsp vinegar. Turn it on and wait. It has a very nice smell, almost like a pool but pleasant and clean. I would highly recommend if you go through a lot of Hypochlorous acid or if you're looking to replace your toxic household disinfectants and cleaners for a healthy all-natural alternative. I am so stoked about this. I use it mostly in the kitchen because I wash all my produce in it and even herbs lastseveral days longer. I clean everything after I cut up meat to make dinner and spray the whole kitchen with hypochlorous, let it rest a few minutes to kill the bad actors, and wipe everything down. I especially like that it tells you how to test to be sure hypochlorous is what you made, and gives you the test strips to do it. Hypochlorous is not a very good name for marketing. We have been pleased with our machine. We use it to make HOCL 4-5 times per year. We use the HOCL as a cleaner & disinfectant in our kitchen and bathrooms. We also use it in small spray bottles as a hand sanitizer. When there is illness in the family we put some in diffusers used only for HOCL. In studies it has been shown to deactivate viruses and kill germs on surfaces. Having this machine has enabled us to make our own “home brew “ from water, kosher salt and vinegar. I had with corrosion in the plug area after about 11 months. It worked great until it didn’t. I’ll have to be more careful about keeping the plug away from liquid maybe? Anyway the manufacturer is replacing it, very happy about this. The person who said this doesn’t really make hypochlorous acid must be mixing it incorrectly. Perhaps forgot to put in the correct amount of salt and vinegar? All the tests are around so it’s legit and has remained stable for weeks. Read more

This machine makes hypochlorious acid .. and kills 99.9% of germs. It is very easy to use..using tab water, kosher salt and white vinegar. I make the solution every week and place in reusable spray bottles that don’t let light in. I replace the solution every two weeks but even 3 weeks out for me.. it still tested at 200 ppm.. chlorine ph stable. Now I use Eco One ..This is how I use this product: For disinfecting.. after cleaning items I spray with this disinfectant.. look at the efficacy online in research papers most germs are killed on contact. Really important if you have immunocompromised or older people in your household. I use this on surfaces, counters, soap dispensers, doorknobs, light switches, as a hand sanitizer, spray on a cloth to clean my phone, in the car, on hairbrushes, manicure and pedicure tools ( for personal use only) in pet bowls,, for cuts and scrapes on skin, after surgeries to aid healing, I use directly on my face as a skin toner ( amazing) I use it as a final disinfectant when cleaning my cats litterbox.. and sometimes spray lightly over litter to cut back on germs.. this is the BEST product I have ever purchased! So inexpensive and easy to operate. I rarely leave reviews. I am so thankful this product is available ..there are other companies that make these units with capsule's that require a subscription to buy.. not the case here..only pennies to use.. do yourself a favor and read up on hypochlorious acid and its uses.. it is gentle yet powerful..
