Perfect for the whole house filter
I have bought at least 40 of those filters - they are very inexpensive but very effective to filtering out even the smallest particles from our water. I use it for the whole house filter and it's perfect - you just need to change it more often. Read more

it does filter sediment and chlorine taste
I bought the 10in bowl and these filters for one specific reason, an ice maker that I got online recently. its a little bigger than your typical portable one so it takes a little bit more effort to get the water flow going to it. i have this whole home filter connected directly from under my kitchen sink. this filter alone isnt enough i have connected it to an anti scaler, 2 5-year fridge filters by ecopure, a carbon sediment filter and theres still a ton of scale build up its supposed to filter sediment but after 1 hr of running the ice maker i can hear something like little rocks in the water cycler i clean the ice maker and it scaled hard, so i checked the ppm its from 445-449 i checked it directly from the faucet and its at 450 so i got 4 filters and the most it filtered was 5ppm at the most i think im going to try my luck with an ion exchange bowl filter instead or maybe a prefilter btw im in socal so the water actually made the filter visibly turn brown in the folds in 4 months from running it specifically for the ice maker. its alright because at least the water didnt ick up but for something thats meant to be .5 microns this isnt cutting it like i thought if it was more finer and in a pack of 3 id definitely buy it, even if it was 30 bucks id get it Read more

Hard water build up
We have them on auto ship! They work better at eliminating hard water build up we have better than other filters we’ve used. We are a family of 7 with 3 teen being teen boys that work and play sports so they shower a LOT! Highly recommend! Read more
Best filters I've bought for well water
Very pleased with these filters. I'm 3 months on them now with well water that typically comes with odors. I am usually lucky to get 30 days out of a carbon filter, so these are fantastic and for once as described. Highly reccomended. Read more
